Monday Roll Call
Good morning Illinois!
I'm running late today...watched Hayden and Vince, went for a walk, played at the park for awhile. They have now gone home.
Time to clean house, do laundry and get into the shower.
The birthday party was a success! MIL was surprised, she had no clue!
Back to the real world. Going to Lockport tonight to listen to the concert. Only a few more to go and they end, bringing fall closer and the dreaded winter even closer than before.

Hello Everyone!!
It's a beautiful day! Today was my nephew Gregory's first day of 4th grade, I can't believe he's in 4th grade already. Where does the time go?
I had a great weekend. Friday saw the Joliet Jackhammers, great fireworks after the game. Saturday I chose not to go see my MIL, Steve went by himself. I saw some old friends who I haven't seen for awhile. One of them didn't recognize me. (what a great feeling). I last saw him at Christmas. Sunday I went to a health fair in Elk Grove Village, it was so slow that many of the vendors weren't there. I did make some good contacts. Than I went bowling with friends, had a great time.
Today I will cut the lawn, go for a bike ride and have a bike club meeting tonight.

It sounds like everyone had a busy weekend. That is god, but I hope you are also finding time to relax as well. Otherwise, stress will come back and bite you.
It's a slow day at work for me today. Mondays are either dead or the phones ringing off the hook.
It's hard to believe that school has started. On the way to work I saw a mom taking pictures of her daughters getting ready to leave for school. They looked like they were kindergarten/1st grade aged. Mom was all excited. I thought -- Mom you will not believe how fast time will pass and those girls will be grown! I am sure all you parents can relate. Wasn't it just yesterday you were taking the kindergarten/first grade first day of school pictures?
It is moments like these that make one stop and reflect on how fast life passes by.
I hope everyone has a great day and give that little first grader who is now an adult or almost an adult a hug or kiss today!
