Sunday Roll Call

Good Morning and Day to everyone in Lincoln Land. It is supposed to be pleasant in my neck of the woods today. High of 83 and less humidity WOOHOO.

We planned on the spur of the moment Friday to go to the Loop to the Gold Coast Art Fair. It is really not in the Gold Coast but now it is in Grant Park. It is a new location for it as of this year. I guess more people will go to it being where it is located. Not many people would go up to the ritzy area of the Gold Coast. Actually if you think of it there is better parking by the two parks than where it was located in the past.

Good morning Chris and IL family.

I'm on my way to San Francisco to start my new journey.

I am at peace with my decision to revise to the DS.

Tomorrow I have appointments with the surgeon and the hospital. My Mom is coming with me.

We fly out of O'Hare this morning. I will have my laptop and will be in communication. Nicolle is my angel so she will have the information on me the day of my surgery.

Today looks like a top weather day. Everyone, enjoy!

Yesterday ended up being very lazy. Watched movies  from about 1 p.m. on. That won't happen today. It is nice to do, but today I feel like I need to get things done.

I love art shows. I don't getto many, but when I do, I could stay all day. We have one happening in our local park, at the end of September.
 
All I have planned for this week is to take my Monica to Peoria for her Dr. appointment on Tuesday.. Maybe stop at Panera Bread for a bowl of their soup afterward.

Lucy-safe travels and a quick recovery to you!

Today is my MIL 80th surprise birthday party....her birthday is not until September so she will definately be surprised. The baked beans are in the oven. I've got to get into the shower and be ready to leave by 9;15AM....got to travel to Yorkville. We have a limited amount of time to get ready. My nephew and his wife are taking her to her old church for mass this morning and a stop at the cemetary. Hopefully we don't have anyone walking in as they pull up. I'll let you know how it goes.

Hello everyone

What a beautiful day.  I will finish cleaning and do some laundry today.  I will walk over to the farmers market and go visit the used book store.

Yesterday I went to Kohls with some coupons to buy some clothes that fit.  I got two pairs of pants and three tops.  I also got a couple necklaces and earrings.  Then I went to Payless to get some shoes.  I got two pairs of shoes and two necklaces.  I will need to get a new winter coat.  This coat is huge on me.  It's the same winter coat I wore when I weighted 360 pounds!!!!

Going to Walmart today. Scott feels it is time for me to get out of the house for a little bit. Actually looking forward to it. He also got to use the carpet cleaner for the first time. Love my cats!

I am not good today at all.  This pain in my teeth is so bad the Tylenol 3 I took last night didn't even touch the pain.  I cannot lay down either because of the pain, it intensifies big time.  I tried to prop my pillows up but now my neck hurts too!  I am going to call the oral surgeon tomorrow and get in for a consult to see how much this will cost and how soon I can get it done.  My only concern is that I am supposed to go to Dreyer Med clinic tomorrow to shadow most of the day for my interview and I am praying that the pain will be under control somewhat at least.  It's going to be very hard if it's not.

So for today...I have nothing at all planned.  I am sure a nap or two will be in order on the couch sitting up most likely.  I was going  to get my haircut, but that's not happening.

Look at all of you.  It is almost like a reunion of those who put up with me pre-op.  I was a basket case.

Yesterday was my brother's birthday but since his death it has been a time of mourning.  Each year gets less difficult but still I have to be careful to actually process it and not let it come out in bad behavior.

Attending Willow via a live feed this morning.  I will get out and give Cheryl a break from me for a little while this afternoon.  She has gone to Willow after doing the live feed earlier.  They still have not figured out how to serve food virtually which she volunteers to do on Sundays.
