Saturday Roll Call
Hello everyone
I'm at work right now. I have to work this Saturday. I want to come in early and leave early. Oh and instead of being freezing cold, it's quite stuffy in here...no air conditioning.
By the looks of things in the sky I don't know if the out door flea market is going to work today. There's rain in the forecast today. But all of my other errands are still on for today. I really hope that the rain stops I would really like to go to the flea market.
Today my street at home is closed down because there is an art fair. Which sounds nice but after 12 years of them closing down my street all of the time, I'm sick of it. When I get home with my groceries and other packages I don't know if I will be able to park any where near my apartment. What a pain in the butt this is. Is it mean to admit that I am hoping the rain closes them down...I'm terrible.
Well I better get going back to work. what are you up to this weekend.

that stinks that you have to work today and without air too! ugh, I'm sorry. The art fair sounds like a big pain in the butt. I don't think it's right for them to close the street to access your parking lot. I hope you find somewhere very close to park! and no I don't think it's bad to wish rain on them...but only them! LOL
Today Mike, Jacob, my sis, her daughter and myself are heading out to Spring Valley to my neice's house. She's having a "House Party" where we will get to try out the new Play Station 3 Move. It's kinda like the Wii Fit, but for the PS3. It's not in the stores yet, but she got invited to try it out through this site called House Party. I love spending time with her and her kids, they are so funny. That will take up most of my day, so nothing else really going on around here!

Good Morning.
I am planning on going to the farmers market too, but the one here in Streator. It is generally quit small, but usually have a few things I can use.My daughter Annette said they may stop and go with me.
Other then that, I have a few things that need doing.
Crystal, I hate to say this, but I would love to go to an art fair that close to me. I know it sucks with having it on your street, but then, you can just pop downstairs and be in the mix of it.

I get to go pick up Roxie pretty soon @ the Vet. She did fine. They call her a "drama queen" at the vet office because she gets kinda, shall we say LOUD whenever they do anything to her. The tech said they took her in the surgery room and hadn't even begun to do anything and she started crying and howling. She was doing good when I called, though. I'll be glad to get her home.
I may go clothes shopping today for a wedding in Sept.
Going to a friend's house tonight for RIBS! We do this as an annual event and they are yummy.

This Sunday is a surprise 80th for my MIL. Today I've got to make pasta salad and brownies. In the morning I've got to make baked beans before I leave here. Also need to pick up some mylar balloons, ice and a corsage. I can't wait til this party is over. I hate all the sneaking around you have to do. It's getting to all of us.

I have been up for a long time but had a few things to get moving on first. Speaking of moving I have been out already for a 3.25 mile walk, started laundry, ate breakfast and rode my bike to the post office and back. Just got Dave's hair cut and now onto other things in the house. Believe it or not there weren't any skeeters out when I was walking.
We leave for the Creek at 3ish to serve the stage team dinner. We decided at the last minute while watching the news last night to go to the Gold Coast Art Fair in Grant Park. So we will be hopping the train early Sunday morning. Supposedly the humidity is to be lower tomorrow and next week when we are in Cedarburg. I am looking forward to that.

ps - Lisa if you read this - I got your towel in the mail this morning. I kept forgetting about it all week to get it back to you.

Today I am feeling so much better. Actually was able to shower and get dressed all by myself today. Baby steps!
My sister and her boyfriend are coming to visit for a while today. We were hoping to sit outback for awhile but I think it is going to be to humid out again. They say next Wed. or Thurs. the highs are only supposed to be 79 or so. Can not wait for that.
My husband I think is going stir crazy with me this week. All morning he has been trying to get me to go places. Not sure I feel up to that yet. A little town by us is having their fun days today and they are about 20 miles from us. Would love to go but don't think I can do that much walking yet. Would love to go to that Art Fair though.
Has anyone noticed how many commercials there are on TV for food? Its crazy.
