Wednesday Roll Call
Morning & good day to all. It is good to hear that Monica is home and resting.
Just about ready to get things going here at the IPD. I do not know how we are going to split work 3 ways as there is hardly enough for one person to do right now.
Walk, walk and more walking for me after work. I got the closet done last night and now have room to spare. I started going through my kitchen cabinets and realized that I do not need doubles of a lot of things so I am going to give it away or to the resale shop.

Good morning Christine and IL family.
Hey Chris, I've got plenty of work to share! LOL..
I had my carpets cleaned yesterday and am so pooped after moving furniture and cleaning.
Today another great workout day with 45 minutes on the elliptical. I've got 2 more workout days at the fitness center before my surgery. One with the trainer and one on the elliptical.
I can't believe it will be a week from today that I will have my DS. It's finally happening. I'm almost all packed and ready to go. We're staying at the Radisson close to the airport. It will be a learning experience, no doubt.

Hello everyone
Well I had an eventful day yesterday. One of my employees found another job, which I knew was going to happen because she was going to school to be a medical assistant. But she only gave me 4 days notice...her last day is Friday!!! I have to now get someone trained in her position in three days and hire some one new quickly. AND next week is month end which is busy any way but now I will be down one person and training another....UGHHHHH!!! I feel the stress now.
I don't feel so tight today. So it seems it was just a fluke.
Well I better get back to work. Have a nice day

Last night at the weightloss class, Liz weighted in 2.4 pounds less than last week! She is on a role. I gained a pound, but expected that after all the good food I ate during the folk festival. On the bright side, I've built so much muscle mass, I feel really good. Tonight we will go to the gym and have a good work out. Today I plan on getting caught up with preperations for the upcoming classes I'll be teaching in the fall. It's hard to believe that they are begining in just weeks! My tiny class in Cary this summer (4 people) has already lost a combined total of almost 50 pounds! Have a great day!

I get to stay home today. YEAH!!!! My main plan for today is to take a walk. I was able to walk on Monday, but not yesterday. So, today, I am going to get dressed and walk before I do anything else. I need some more grass seed, so maybe I will walk to the hardware store.
Yesterday we took the DGG to her dental appointment, then drove her home to Bloomington. She starts school again on Thursday.
Crystal, training new people really sucks. Good luck.
Paul, you seem motivated.
Chris, I think sometimes that the stuff in our kitchen drawers are magical. They seem to multiply. I should be doing the same thing.

I too am glad to hear that Monica is home and resting.
We bought a "new" freezer last night to replace the one that went out on "A Day in Rock City". I was very excited, because when I went to see it at lunch, it seemed like we were going to be upgrading to a better freezer for a decent amount of $$.
WELL......we get it home and see that the person we bought it from lied through his teeth! He said that he bought it NEW "about 3 years ago"......it was manufactured in 1996. He said that it was frost-free----as was our old one.....I would never have purchased something that is a step back. After getting it home and looking closely at the tag on the back, it says, "manual defrost". THEN, there was a small gap on the seal, but I was assured by both the seller and my FIL (who went with me to look) that this gap would close tightly one the unit was level and running. This turns out to only be partially true. While I CAN get it to seal, it must be pushed closed at the corner, and I do not know if I can trust my kids and husband to remember to seal it each time. UGGGGHHHHH!!!!! I feel like I've been taken for a ride (to put it mildly). The good news is that it is a commercial grade freezer, so I guess that as long as it keeps my food frozen, and if we get 5-10 years out of it, I can live. I just HATE when people lie to me.
I am working today and driving David around town. He wanted to come in and see his girlfriend. The last time I let him do this, they misled me about where they were. So, today, I will be their chauffeur. At least that way I will know that he is where he says he is.......lucky for me that we are kind of slow and I can do that.
Better get back to it!
