I'm Back
Hi Nancy.
I think back to my best times and they were after I lost all that weight. I loved my new clothes and lifestyle. It was hard when I started gaining weight and my clothes got tight. It's so different when you're obese. Sizes don't change so quickly if you gain a few pounds, but when you are small, even 5 pounds make a difference.
I sure know now that I have to watch it all the time. 2 pounds the limit.
I am so ashamed of my regain that I withdrew from my friends and support groups. It took me a long time to face myself and make a decision.
My knees won't last too much longer without surgery. And, I don't want knee surgery at this weight. Maybe I can put it off a little longer.
The cost of the DS revision is so worth it to me. I am appealing BCBS decision though. I had paid for both WLS myself.
I will keep in touch as I start my new journey.
