Sunday Roll Call
Happy Sunday to everyone. It was great to see everyone yesterday at Lisa's.
We are off to the Loop to welcome in the new campus pastor at our church's regional. Jon K was on staff with the Creek several years ago and Dave and I missed him when he left. Now he will be real close again. Jon was Dave's mentor when Dave was directing one of the weekend services from the production booth.
After church we are going to see what kind of trouble we can get ourselves into down there. The air and water show is going on down there again today. We will not go to North Ave Beach but we might walk across LSD to the water's edge or in the least wander around Millennium & Grant Parks.

Hello everyone
I had a really great time yesterday. I was really tired when I got home. Funny cause I didn't do anything that would make me tired. It's been a long time since have been in the Ottawa area. I love the country it's so peaceful and beautiful.
Today I have some cleaning to do and then I will relax.

Had a nice time at Lisa's yesterday. It was nice to finally meet her daughter Monica.
My thoughts and prayers will be with her tomorrow.
We are going to Chicago today to take an older couple shopping.
Then we will go to dinner with them.
My husband is on vacation this week so I may not be posting too often.

I will agree, it was fun seeing everyone yesterday. Hosting a Meet and Greet is great, besides seeing everyone, it is a layed back way of entertaining. I wish all of my get togethers were as easy.
Hubert is working today, and I need to finish laundry. Monica and Scott are coming up to pick up our Granddaughter from her Dads, then I will have her overnight. Then tomorrow, we will head for Peoria for Monica's RNY. I will post when I get home how everything went.
It is still humid and warm out, even if it is only 81'. There is also a humidity of 73'.
I hope the electric companies are enjoying the windfall that they are charging. NOT!

Lisa, thanks again for hosting us all yesterday! We have such a great group and is is always so much fun to get together with everyone. I enjoyed meeting Deanna and Crystal in "real life" You feel you know these people, but when you finally get to meet them in person, it adds a different accent to everything and sometimes changes preconceptions!
Today I am going to have to do chores as I played yesterday. Lisa, I had no idea it was so late when we left there! One minute it was 3 pm and the next it was 6 pm! It just show how fast time passes when you are in good company.
Monica, prayers and best wishes for tomorrow! I am sure everything will go fine and you will have the privledge of being called a loser and that is something positive!

Thank you to everyone for the wishes. Less than 10 hours to go. It was a pleasure meeting some of you for the first time and seeing others again. The weather was beautiful today. Hope we have a few more days of it! Enjoying my last cup of broth for the night and then calling it a early evening.
