Good Morning to All

When I got up this morning, the sky was red. Isn't that the sign for rain?
I think the quote is: Red Skies at night, Sailors delight
Red Skies at morn, Sailors take warn.
Anyway, I went to sleep with the thunder and lighting, and it is still gray.

Wonders of Wonders, while we were gone last week, our street got a top coat of blacktop. Now, all that needs to be done is the markings and signs put up.

I did go to support group in Bloomington last night. It was nice and friendly. Also went to Sams and Walmart.

Today, I have some cleaning to do, and then work on a scarf I am making.

What is on your agenda?

Have a safe day.
LISA

Hello everyone

I was thinking the same thing about the color of the sky.  Now the red is gone and it looks gray and dreary so it will be raining sometime soon.  Lisa it's seems to me that they have been working on your street forever.

Yesterday, it was so much drama here at work.  There is a group of girls that is always whispering in the boss's ear.  They cause so much trouble in the department.  I just don't understand why my boss doesn't see what kind of turmoil this is causing and she perpetuates the drama by letting these people come and tattle on people.  After yesterday's problems I think it gave me the incentive to at least look and see what kind of jobs are out there.  Because let's face it I'm not happy here.

I am looking forward to my weekend.  Ughhhhh!!!!

I got a fill on Friday and so far so good.  He only gave me .02.  I told him to give just a little tiny bit because I don't want to be too tight again.  I am able to eat solid proteins and I don't get hungry.

Well I hope everyone has a great day...including me.

Crystal, more than likely your co-workers and your boss "feed" off of one another. I have the same thing with a girl in my office and the deputy chief (DC). She tattles on the officers plus myself and the other girl in records. It gives them a false sense of security and one upping over other people. Don't worry God sees what they are doing and they will be dealt with later on. Also the DC is a very arrogant person and an arrogant person is known to be insecure in their own life. We all know for a fact that his wife wears the pants in the family.

I chilled last night, except for making some fresh salsa. Dave fixed me dinner, I snoozed in my chair, watched more TV and went to bed at about 9:15.  So far I am feeling great.

Hopefully the skeeters are not as bad today as the village sprayed last night. I did not have them chase me around the back side of the garage this morning while I was walking my bike around to the front. Dave has been a captive in the house even during the daytime.

No other big plans this evening. Tomorrow we are going back to the new grocery in Arlington Hts. We want to cash in on the water sale, sweet corn, Tbone steak . . . and look around again. It was so busy there on Saturday that we did not get a good look at the store. In addition to that I will stop in at a running shoe store and pick up a new pair of shoes. That store is on our way home from the grocery.

Good morning Lisa and welcome home!

I am working half a day today, then taking Liv to Madison to have her ears checked after her surgery.  It should be interesting.

The sky WAS preety strange this morning and the humidity is awful!  The skeeters are crazy too!  I went out last night to pick some Jalapenos for salsa and got about 30 bites in 5 minutes!  UGGGGGHHHHH!  Oh well, I guess it is better than slipping on the ice or tramping through the snow at -20 wind chill.

I STILL need to talk to Todd about whether I can sneak away for a bit to Streetor on Saturday.  Maybe I need to email him.  Sometimes, that seems to be our main means of communication.

The show on Sunday was FANTASTIC!!!!!  These kids really worked hard and it showed.  A little over 50 people attended and that was not a bad turn out considering the advertising was mostly word-of-mouth.  The theater only holds 124.  Now....to decide where to go from here with the group.

That's about it for me.......

Everyone have a lovely day and stay cool.

Tell someone that you love them!

Red sky at morning means that fierce storms might be brewing especially over water, therefore the "Red Skies at morning - sailors take warning"

 Good Afternoon Everyone!

Could someone tell me when I moved to a sauna?  That is what it feels like outside today.  I just cannot believe how hot and muggy it is.  When I left work today I was watching the people smoke outside and thought which is worse, summer or winter and decided winter of course but the heat does get to me!   I missed the red skies this morning but I really thought we were going to get a downpour but that never happened.

My knee is still pretty sore today as well as a few other body parts.  I have an appointment with the doctor tomorrow.  He wants to see me to make sure I did not damage anything.

Not much else happening here.  I am looking forward to our meet and greet!
