Sunday Roll Call
Up early this morning again.
Squash blooms are beautiful. It takes a moment more though to realize how beautiful they are and how amazing they are growing from little seeds. How beautiful are we and how much beauty is there to come from the seed of WLS. The seed of scripture in our hearts is greater and it still amazes me that my mind on a verbal level must deal with only one of these wonders at a time. Oh, look at the peppers.
Randy, I thought I was up early for a Sunday, but I see that you were up even earlier.
Chris, I am glad that your visitor went well.
Dawn, I am happy that David had a wonderful time. I can see how he was so smelly when he came home. It was hotter then h out in D.C. We encounter loads of Scouts wherever we went, and they were walking.
Nancy, one of our cats had gotten out a time or two. She was so traumatized, she didn't try to get out for months.
Crystal, your Grand- Kitten is very cute. I want another one, but DH says no.
O.K. our trip was beautiful, we enjoyed our Granddaughter very much. We were unable to see it all, but no plans on going back. The traffic was worst then Chicago and St. Louis combined. What we were able to see, was wonderful. We were hit with a large thunderstorm on Thursday. Thank goodness we were in the car. Power lines and trees went down. Traffic was backed up for hours. Our GPS was unable to keep up with all the detours we had to make, but eventually we were able to make it back to our hotel.
Now to do all the chores that didn't get done this past week.
Have a great day,
LISA
Hello everyone
I have no plans for the day. My house is clean and my errands are done.
I gave away my old iphone. I could have gotten money for it but I had a few people approach me about it and these are people I would never charge. So yesterday my best friend's daughter became the new owner of my old phone. She was so excited. She came by just to thank me.
I am looking forward to seeing everyone next weekend. Finally I'll be able to go to one of these. I was just thinking if Amanda was still in school I would miss it again because next weekend is the weekend we always moved her in.
Chrisitne- thanks for the websites yesterday. I'm still feeling overwelmed.
Lisa- I can't wait to see your pictures
Well have a great day.
We are off to visit my neice again at ABMC. Tomorrow she gets sprung from the prison, I mean hospital. She is doing great.

I guess our weather in Chitown took a turn, that stinks. Oh well we are tired anyways and need to stay in a rest this afternoon plus the skeeters are still nasty.

Not much on the agenda for today....maybe a trip to Frankfort to listen to the Concert on the Green. Last night we went to the Taste of Orland. The band American English played there. If you like the Beatles you would like this band.
Hope everyone is doing well. Hope to see many of you at Lisa's this Saturday.
Have a great day!
Randy, I enjoyed reading your post. It made me stop and think about the powerful message that is there. When we really take time to look at all of God's works it is really awe inspiring.
Lisa, I am glad you had a great time in DC. Sorry it was so hot! DC traffic is a nightmare to begin with. I can't imagine DC with a lot of detours.

Crystal, I know how it feels to have to worry about cholesterol. I am on meds since wls. Go figure. I wasn't on it before surgery.
Christine, I am glad you had a good visit with your guests.
No much on my plate this weekend. Spent time viewing new baby pictures and surfing internet. Need to get off and go shopping.
Have a great day!
