Monday Morning Roll Call
Good Monday to Everyone!
I can't believe that I am starting roll call but I am!. I feel like I am running late this morning but ended up with a few minutes before I leave for work. It looks like another hot week again. I hope everyone stays cool.
No special plans for me this week. I hope Lisa has a great time in DC! Whats on your agenda for the week??

Hello everyone
I have a 4 day work week this week...woohoo!!! I also have two doctor Appointments. I have one on Thursday with my PCP for a yearly check-up, blood work, and I also want to talk to him about changing my migraine medicine. Then on Friday I have an appointment for a fill (hope this starts the weight loss again). The two appointments alone will cost me close to $100...and I have insurance. I don't know that seems expensive to me. Just a couple of years ago an office visit cost only $20.
Other than the doctors I have no plans this week...but that can always change. We shall see.

Nancy---I am SO sorry that I forgot about our yard! I AM glad to hear that it has gotten done though. Please forgive me.
We had a good time at the Airfest on Saturday. The VIP tent on the flight line was a great place to see the show. It was a VERY LONG day though. The morning was very overcast, so the show was delayed a little over an hour. By the time the Thunderbirds flew, I was just ready for bed! Then, we had to go to the screening of the Centennial Celebration from Jamboree. I wound up going out to sleep in the car as I think the heat got to me a little bit. I was not feeling too well.
The best news is that David called last evening!!!! I was sending thoughts to him to please call, and he did! It was so nice to actually talk to him, although it was hard to hear with all the other boys using phones in the background. He is having fun and taking advantage of all the activities. Friday, their troop traded 3 Scouts with the troop from Saudi Arabia for dinner! They got to eat with each other and spend time getting to know about their different cultures. They even had a break dancing contest! What a great opportunity!
He is looking forward to being home and having a home cooked meal. He said that the food is "OK, but not like home".
I hope Lisa's trip was safe and she is enjoying our nation's capital.
Liv and I are working today, then we have "tech week" rehearsals all week for our show on Sunday afternoon. It is going to be a great show and I am very proud of these middle school kids and how hard they have worked.

Not much going on here! I am just sitting with the grand kids, they sure make my day interesting! Heat index supposed to be in triple digits! So keeping them indoors because the oldest will pass out if he gets to hot... I'm not complaining the air feels real good.
