Thursday Roll Call
Good Thursday morning Christine! We had a ton of rain yesterday so my flowers got a drink then!
I thought I'd check in. I haven't done that in a while.
Not a lot going on here in Central Illinois, for me anyways.
July 22nd started our birthday season, my oldest grandson turned 9, my oldest daughter turned 32, my son turned 31 both on July 27th and my youngest daughter turns 30 on Saturday, and my other grandson turns 8 on Sunday. Abby won't be 4 till January. I have not had any cake did take a finger of frosting though!
I am still having a hard time dealing with the death of my sister, I had to go to the Dr for something to help put a smile back on my face. Sometimes it works. Its just so hard to except I can not call her anymore! I lost her and my grandma with in 9 days of each other. Grandma was ready to go she even told all her kids she loved them but she was tired and ready to go, that night she went to sleep and was gone!
I have got the weight thing back in control though, since I got the small fill on the 15th I have lost 5 pounds. I am happy about this. I had put on a total of 30 pounds over the last year with the trouble I was having with the band, but Gr Rosen has been good at listening to me and I think we have it right at a good spot now! No throwing up, or getting stuck!
Well that's my update not much really just trying to enjoy my summer with my grand babies!

Hello everyone
It's month end at work and I'm a crazy woman. Every month end I stress out and you would think after 15 years of month end I would be used to it and not stress out so much. I guess that's easier said than done.
I didn't get home till 11pm last night and long story short I only got 4 hours of sleep, so I might be a little tired today. It was nice to see everyone. My ex-brother in law is in some pain but I told him he will feel better soon. Although, he seems to be in more pain and discomfort than I was.
My daughter is leaving this morning. She got most of her room cleaned out. It looks weird to see her room so empty. She didn't get it all done but that's ok. She worked hard. I will be moving my treadmill into the other room now. It will be nice to get that out of my bedroom.
Tonight after work I'm going to the movies to see Inception. I can't wait it looks really good

I guess I didn't think of it. It is one of the site we missed when we were there as a family. I am very excited to see all the pictures that David is taking. I have a whole week to wait!
I am happy that I now have web contact to see what is going on down there. It makes it feel less like he is out of touch.

Good morning Chris and the rest of Illinois!
I am working around taking Liv to the doctor today. The only appointment I could get was at 11:30----right in the middle of the day! Oh well, we will make it work.
I am very happy that I got some web contact with David and the Jamboree. There is a great site (http://www.bsajamboree.org/) where I can see the "official" pictures and videos of what is happening down there. I also got access to a private site set up by one of the leaders that gives a little more info on David's particular troop. But the BEST thing is that David got access to Facebook for about 15 minutes yesterday and both Amber and I happened to be on during that same time! We actually got to "talk" to him a bit. He ways that he is "sweating like a beast. The temp is 100+" but that he "is having tons of fun". I wish he was the more organized sort of guy. We could coordinate a chat at a certain time of day, but he is NOT that organized (re: forgot his pants at home......)
We are expecting to see the Air Force Thunderbirds practicing overhead this afternoon as we are on the flight line. That is always fun.....the building shakes like crazy, and by the time we run out there, they are gone.....
Gotta get back to work!
