Wednesday Roll Call
Good morning and day to all in Illini Land. I have a hair apt. later on after work today then home to clean another bathroom before our guest arrives next week. That's about it for me. You all try to stay cool and hydrated. Hopefully we will not get too socked with rain today.

Good Morning Christine and all of Illinois.
Well, I guess LaSalle County did a great job on the summer cooling program, since it was ended yesterday. 3 days short.That is ok with me, since it gives me more time to get packed for our trip next week.
If it doesn't rain this afternoon, I want to get out in the pool. Then we are going out to dinner.Tomorrow night we are going to a local ice cream social. The neighbor girl asked us to attend. She is in the band, and is playing in it.

I guess today I want to dig into one bedroom. It is where all my craft stuff is, and tends to get messy. I have gotten into the bad habit on not putting everything away, so it is a mess. Plus, since I am the only one who uses it............

Good Morning!
Today is the day I finally get to meet my great nephew Enzo! I am so excited. He has grown like a weed since he was born so no longer a little baby even though he is only 6 weeks old. He is too long to lay on your lap and look at him. All of our babies grow out of that really fast. Sigh.
It is still hot out there. It is supposed to start cooling off soon,. I cant wait. I am so tired of the heat. Tomorrow, it is back to work and the usual routine.

I am working today, then rehearsal for Liv tonight. Next week is "tech week", then the BIG SHOW on August 8!
I have numerous things to get done and can't decide which to do at lunch time today. It is a puzzle.
I miss having David around, but I know he is having the experience of his life! We can tune into a radio station that the Scouts are broadcasting and it is very interesting to listen in. One of his troop leaders has started a blog, but I can not get access into it. He is supposed to fix that problem for me and many others, but so far....no go. The Jamboree had said that they would have "great internet access" but the reality is different. Not only is access spotty, the heat is really taking its toll on the PC batteries. Today, it is supposed to be 97 degrees, high humidity with only a 20% chande of showers.
Nancy's chicked recipe sounds great! I will have to try it soon.

Hello everyone
Well I'm eating lunch at work today. I was too busy this morning to get on.
Well my daughter is home cleaning out her room. She has soooo much crap. My kitchen is piled high (about 5'5 high) with boxes that need to go to Goodwill. And that is only about half of her stuff. She has a lot of work to do. I tried to get her to stop by work to have lunch with me but she says she has too much to do and not enough time to do it. Which is true...I guess...damn her for being so responsible.
Tonight after work today we are going to visit my ex-brother in law. He had WLS on Monday.
My friend at work is doing really well on her Phentermine (remember I was telling you guys about some people getting diet pills here at work) she has lost 26 pounds so far. I'm jealous, I'm happy for her but jealous. The thing is I was on that and when I got off the pills I gained the weight back. I'm not going to rain on her parade and tell her that.
Well I better get going.
