Tuesday Roll Call
Good Morning Everyone!
Yes, I am actually starting roll call! I cant believe it. It has been awhile since I have done this. I woke early today and have a few minutes before work and came here and discovered no one had started roll call, so I will.
It is kind of gloomy today but that is ok. What is on your agenda for today? For me, it is back to work.
Lisa, hope your first day back was not too stressful. Dawn, do you have a quiet household yet? Carol, it sounds like you have been attending the village concerts. I always think those sound so enjoyable. Jackie, hope things are going well. For all you lurkers, come on in and say HI! Mary, how are you doing? Any questions yet? Christine, I hope you are starting to feel a little better. That sounds so painful. My sinus infection**** me in the back of the head. I can't even begin to imagine the jaw!

I'm going to say it...I am tired of air conditioning. While grateful for its existence, I am tired of it. I long to open our windows and breathe regular air. I hope that's going to happen soon!
The usual parenting craziness today--providing taxi service. I will take the kids for their annual physicals today. One needs some shots, so we will be hitting the ice cream paralor afterwards to ease the pain. We have a fun (and delicious) one near the doc's office, so it should be good.
Attended our monthly support group meeting last night. A bunch of newbies considering taking the plunge. I remember those early days. Big decisions to be made, hopes raised, fears confronted. I wish them all well. Got to see our Lucy yesterday. She is loaded and locked, ready for her revision in about a month! Very exciting!

I have to say, I agree with you on the AC. I have about had it as well. I had a cat that flew the coop on Sunday and when I finally got him back in he just laid there and panted for a half hour. Too much heat! I long for lunches out on the patio at work, open windows and fresh air! Sure hope it cools down soon!

Hello Nancy,,,yes it has been awhile since you started the roll call. I hope your job has calmed down a bit.
I am going to the movies tonight with a group of friends from work. These are the only plans I have this week so far.
I am contemplating joining a gym. Our work has this thing where they will pay $20 a month towards a gym membership. It's all part of the make your employees healthier thing. Well everyone is singing the praises of Lifetime fitness, but it's $60 a month. To me that's expensive. even with the $20 from work, that's $40. I don't know I will have to think about it. To me that's a big commitment.
When I have sinus infections they seem to go right for my eyes and ears, but my daughter is just like Christine and she gets the worst jaw pain.

Crystal, can you recall how long your daughter would be in discomfort with her jaw pain when she would have a sinus infection? Mine seems to be "camping out" in the jaw and in the right ear. I have to have Tylenol in almost all day long to keep it from hurting. Thanks for your time.

I do love going to the village concerts! It's a nice way to sit and relax in the evening.
I so agree with Nicole about the air conditioning...I'm sick of it. I love having the windows open and the fresh air drifting in. Not much on the agend atoday but I will be going to the gym.

My two teens have been working in the corn fields doing pollinating. 
My 17 year old son has not had a day off since he started July 6th (plus has weightlifting/football practice too) and my 14 year old daughter has only had one day off. It definitely has been a hot summer for them but they enjoyed that first paycheck last week. They don’t have to work in the rain so my daughter has been praying for rain, ha. The season should end soon though.
I have been a member of Anytime Fitness gym for a couple years now. I have $35 a month deducted right from my checking account each month. Although I sure can’t get rid of this inner-tube around my mid-riff! I’ve lost weight head to toe but this belly of mine just seems like it won’t budge and it frustrates me. Sometimes I wonder if having 3 c-sections and if giving my insulin shots in my stomach for the last 10+ years has any effect on the stomach not going away????
We will be flying out to Seattle August 1st and my in-laws haven’t seen me since I lost weight so I’m looking forward to seeing them. They have done a lot of praying for my surgery/health so it will be nice to spend time with them and get some fresh salmon out there too!
