Saturday Roll Call
Hello everyone
I have no plans for the weekend. Yesterday I must have been really tired because I laid down at 7pm to watch TV and fell asleep till 5am this morning. I had the weirdest dreams.
I am planning on running out early to Kohls. I have a coupon. Then doing some cleaning around the house but that's all.
Dawn- I got my candle yesterday. It smells really good. I love it.
Well what plans do you have this weekend??? Have a great day. Bye.
Morning. I am going to find a Minute Clinic at a CVS and take myself in as my doc does not have Sat hours. After research I do believe that it is a sinus infection. It is worse when I am vertical and I am going to guess it is due to gravity and everything presses down when I stand or sit. I never have had a sinus infection before and hope I never do again. The only thing that is taking away the discomfort is some left over 'script that I have in the house for pain.
We will be finally off to Caputo's for groceries. I wanted to go after work yesterday but fell fast asleep at about 330. After coming back from the store there is a farmer's market here in town we will stop at.

Good monrning all,
Christine I am sorry you are experiencing such pain. I hope you feel better soon.
This week I went to my first face to face support group. This one was in Skokie last Thursday. It was so nice hearing from such a variety of people. Many were pre-op as I, some just out of surgery and others success stories from 2+yrs. One many ingrediant from everyone for their success was listening to their body and the dietician. Secondly, support from groups and family. I feel very lucky to have the support at home. My husband was with me last Thursday and plans to be there every step of the way. My children are excited and supportive as well, as this will not only improve my quality of life, but also affect their's. Unfortunately from my example of grazing and being sedate, my daughter has developed these habits and is showing an increase in weight. As I begin my journey to 10,000 steps a day, she is walking with me. This can only be positive for her.
I am feeling good about my decision for the gastric bypass and am looking forward to this life long journey.
Hope all have a great Saturday
Debbie

Good Afternoon Everyone!
Christine, I am sorry you have a sinus infection. Those things are not fun. And they can linger and you may not be aware of it. I once went to an Ear, nose and throat dr and was surprised to be told that I had a sinus infection. I thought it was allergies.
I had my check class this morning. No special plans for the rest of the weekend. I have Monday off too and I hope to get a few things done around here. But first on the agenda may be a nap and playing on the computer. Sounds like a plan to me.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Good afternoon Crystal and the rest of Illinois!
Glad to hear it got to you safely Crystal. Enjoy and thanks again!
I am just playing on the computer a little bit while waiting for my boys to get the ambition to go to Freeport. David has to have his duffle packed to be put on the truck tomorrow and he needs a few last minute things. I am very excited for him. This Jamboree will be an experience of a lifetime! He leaves next Saturday.
My husband's softball team has a yearly "Hawaiian Night" where they dress in Hawaiian shirts and decorate the dugout. They are a great bunch of fun and silly guys! I have never been able to attend this game, but I got to go last night. It was great, funny and they won! While taking a team picture, I got hit on the right side of my knee with a softball that was going VERY fast ****il my knee stopped it......). OUCH! Oh well, I will live and at least nothing is broken. It just hurts to walk and bend it. ;-) I put some of the pictures on Facebook.
Tomorrow, my husband leaves for summer camp and we have to get David's duffle loaded. Then, it will be just me and the kids until Firday when Liv leaves for cheer camp. David will leave on Saturday morning and Todd will be back Saturday afternoon. It shoudl be an interesting week.
