Monday Roll call
Revision on 04/19/13
Good morning,
Its Monday, enough said.
My plans for today, I am going to finish cleaning the carpet in the dining room.
Later this afternoon, I will be heading for Bloomington, and a support group meeting. I may stop and look for a couple of blouses to wear over sleeveless tops for work next week.
The weekend went well.
What are you doing today?
Stay Safe.
Huggers,
Lisa

I couldn't sleep last night! So I feel a little weird but still wide awake! Today my oldest son has an appointment from where he failed his pulmonary functioning test meaning he officially has asthma. Then later today I am doing another strength training class at my gym (I did an hour long strength training class followed by Zumba on Sunday afternoon!). Then it time to come home and gets some homework and chores done. Leaving on Thursday for Vermont for my best friends wedding so it is going to be a busy week!
www.geekmomblog.com -My Mom blog were I talk about my journey through weight loss & weight loss surgery, my kids, cupcakes, Star Wars & pretty much everything!

Sitting here at the ole IPD taking care of all the ticket arrests for the weekend. I am here by myself for most of the week - YAHOO!
We made it home yesterday evening from the fest before the rain came down. We have 1 of 3 landscapers coming today to give ideas and an estimate for contouring the middle back yard towards the new drain.

Christine, that sounds expensive. We only got a brief shower yesterday. That means I have to water the new lawn today.
We got close to an inch of rain.
Yeap, anything on our own property is our responsibility and that = $$$$$ We just want dirt and seed, not sod. We have tossed around having weed barrier and rock put down around the new drain instead of dirt and grass. That way the muck will not wash into the new drain.

Good morning LIsa and the rest of Illinois!
We had a nice time at my niece's wedding and everyone behaved well, which with that family, is a good thing. a "dangerous storm" came through Rockford at the same time as the outdoor wedding, but miraculously stayed south of the wedding site. I hope that is a good sign for the new bride and groom.
I saw a couple of pictures of myself from the wedding. I wore the "red dress" that I bought in Febuary that I loved so much. In the pictures I saw, I look like the broad side of a barn!!!! I am SO upset about this. What a blow to my self-esteem. Here I thought I was looking all cute and sexy, and I looked like an idiot! Such a bummer. I am just at a loss as to what to do to try to get the last 40 or so pounds off. I suppose I should just get over it and realize that I am where I am and accept it.
I REALLY do not want to go back to the "diet" mentality and try all those crazy things, including the "pouch test". That is still an extreme "diet" and I had this surgery because "diets don't work". Oh, heck! I will be back to my usual positive self soon, I promise, but it just helps to be able to come here and vent!
Now it is back to the usual grindstone of my life. The next big things on our agendas are that Todd leaves for Summer Camp with his Scouts on Sunday and David has to have all his stuff packed to be loaded onto the bus for Jamboree on Sunday. Liv has Cheer Camp the 23rd to 26th and he will then leave for Jamboree next Satuday.
Saturday, the 24th is "A Day in Rock City". As usual, the house will be open and meat will be grilled. There will be a couple things different this year. Our kids will be both be gone, and we are not involved with the festival at all. We will just be able to enjoy the day and our guests.
They are having a pig roast and street dance on Friday night, the the "Day" will be mostly as usual on the 24th. So.....busy as usual! Anyone that is interested in small tonw festivals will love this! Come on out!
I wish you all a very wonderful day!
