Friday Roll Call
Hello everyone
Yeah Friday!!!
I have some running around to do after work today, a few errands. It would be nice not to have to do these things after work. But what are you going to do???
So I worked-out everyday this week. No change in my weight. I know it takes longer to see results. I checked my weight and no change. It does make me a little sad. It seems no matter what I do I can't jump start a consistant weight loss. I will keep on working out and hopefully I will see results next Friday...

Happy Friday!! This morning I was awaken by a phone call from my surgeon's nurse. I had questions answered so now I feel more understanding of the process.
Next week I will go to my first face to face support group. The group is held in Skokie. A bit of a drive for me, but it will all be worth it. On the 19th I go see the Psychologist. Once those two are finished, I will be submitted for approval to the insurance company. I hope I will get the ok.
Today I am hoping to take my kids to the beach. I need to take them to water even though I do not like myself in a suit right now.

Hang in there Crystal! It WILL come off. I KNOW how it feels for nothing to change, even though you are working your a$$ off. Keep it up and eventually, you WILL win this fight. You have a very stubborn body, just like me. You may see a change in the way your clothes fit and feel before you see a change in the scale. Either way-----working out helps you to FEEL better, and be all around healthier. Go Crystal, Go Crystal, GO CRYSTAL!!!!! (in my best cheerleader's voice....)
I am at work today, but hopefully not working too hard. I am hoping it will be quiet enough for me to finish up the recipe box for my niece. I will not have time tonight, as I have to be at the Playhouse, then picking up David from his umpire job. That is, if he feels up to it. He has had a sore throat for the last 6 days and we went to the "doc in a box" last night who says it is strep. Of course, by the time he would go to a doctor, his throat was almost swollen shut! Silly boy----just like his dad.
We have that wedding tomorrow and then I hope to get my yard squared away on Sunday.

Good Morning,
It is Friday, the last work day of the week. I have 1 more full week to play, then back to work for a couple of weeks. Then a trip to Washington D.C. and then home for another 3 weeks, Then, sorry to say, but back to work. And all the kids are back in school. These summers sur don't last long enought.
We are finishing the side yard today. It is really looking good. Plus, the grass should be coming up in the next few day.
yesterday I did get some errands and stuff ran. today, other then the yard, I need to pick up the house. It will be a quiet weekend for us.

Short but busy week. Going over to the Abilities Expo at the Schaumburg Convention Center today. I am hoping I can find a few more companies that use contractors for repairs and do not make you maintain an inventory.
Was in Elmwood Park yesterday so that was close enough for me to go and pick up BBQ at Smoque for the first time. Their brisket is very close to what I am used to and it is great that a slice and a half is enough to fill me up now. I still like my own brisket best but a whole brisket last me forever so I like to make it when I have an opportunity to share it with others.
Switching my ticker numbers over to be consistant with the docs office and the Wii Fit.

Happy Friday Morning all my friends in Illinois-Land!
We finally got rain over here in West Belleville after nearly 18 days without! AND, a nice good 2-3" worth. My lawn and my tomatoe garden are rolling in moisture laden goodness. Hopefully within the next couple of weeks I will have tons of tomatoes coming in (There are TONS on the vines, all big and green just waiting to ripen up). The Zucchinis are finally starting to grow in too.
Anyone know a good WLS recipie for Zucchini bread? I would love to make some WLS "friendly" Zucchini bread. If anyone knows a recipie please feel free to post it or PM it to me.
The husband is getting ready to go TDY (temporary duty) next week to Seattle. He was on leave for two weeks while I went through the surgery. Now he has to go back to work. He's in the Air Force and has been for 28 years and we finally get to retire at the end of the year. Until then, he still goes TDY about once a month. Ah well.
RANDY: You look FABULOUS! Keep up the great work and congrats on the loss and ticker adjustment. Isn't that always fun?

Evening Everyone!
Well, I now can say I have been officially cussed out by Raccoons. Check that off my list of people and things to be cussed out by before I die.
4 were successfully trapped last night however one escaped while being put into another carrier for transport. Neither the "mom'" or the escapee took the bait last night. Hopefully they will "bite" tonight. I would love to know that they are gone permanently. They sure are noisy critters when they are trapped!
I am glad that it is Friday and work is over with for the week. I am looking forward to a weekend of nice weather. I need to get outside and powerwash my deck. That is if all the raccoons are gone. Otherwise, no other special plans.
