Good Morning Friends,
Just a quick fly-by. We are making a quick trip to St. Louis today, will be back late tomorrow. Family sometimes makes things happen.
These storms we are having are not my friends. I hope we could get through the rest of the month without them. I know we have gotten more rain this month then we usually get for the summer.

For me off to work, then home for school work, Yes I am taking online classes along with working 60+ hours a week. I miss all of my friend here on OH, I will try to get envoled more, I need some support and in a bad way, I have gained 25 lbs and am eatting out of control, it would not be so bad but I am eatting all of the bad stuff, any way that is about what is going on in my world, Hope to be able to keep in touch with everyone, I miss you all.

I am working and getting ready to take Liv to the museum for her shift. Todd will take her to her game tonight and I will go out to the woods to spend family night with David. I'm trying to figure out what to take for dinner.......
We did not really get much of that last storm, but I hear Chicago had the tornado sirens going off! WOW! Crazy weather.
Not much else up with me. Glad to see Janet and hope to see more of her. Also glad to see that Carol M. is recovering well.

Well the weather by me was pretty bad last night. The tornado sirens were going off and our electricity was out all night. This morning when driving trough town every other street was shut down due to trees and branches in the street.
Well I am getting excited to go TV shopping tomorrow. I am also really thinking about getting the new iPhone!!! I love mine and would love to have the new one. I will have to think about that one awhile.
Saturday I pick up my vacuum cleaner. The fix it guy made it "all better" and it will only cost me $26. That's better than paying for a whole new one.

St.Louis is going to be ultra hot this weekend they say (triple digits) so those in our area or if you're coming to visit...Stay cool!
Right now, evening is my friend for walking! LOL!
The husband got his leave approved to stay home during the week of my surgery and day of. And I am all set on protein powders, drink mixes, SF Jello and everything else I need to do. It's just the incessant waiting...Tick, tick, tick. Only 4 more days, and I know that it will FLY by come friday night when I am busy this weekend.
Do any of you remember what you did in preparation for your surgery?

I made sure I had smaller serving plates, s good blender and a stick blender, small storage containers, large pads/bandages in case the wound became infected (which it did), my vitamins etc. I cleaned my house well as you wont be doing that again for awhile. Then pamper yourself. You are right. It will fly by. I did not get the jitters until the day before and they did not last long. I just kept focusing on surgery. I was so psyched! Good luck to you!
