Wednesday Roll Call
Good morning everyone. We're to have rain up here in Cheesehead land today. Oh well, no big deal as we have things planned that we can drive to. Dave wants to go up to my folks property that is 30 miles north of here in a town called Friendship. I want to hit a couple of resale shops and today we are gettting our old time photo taken which is our yearly tradition. We also get Christmas cards to send out.

Hello everyone
Well it's official Amanda's wedding will be June 26, 2011. That's a Sunday. They put a deposit down on the ceremony site and the Illini ballroom for the reception. So the planning starts!!!
I know a couple things so far- she wants a morning ceremony and reception would be a champagne brunch. I never heard of this but I love it.
I am at work of course and I have a million and one things to do before Friday. Have I mention how stressful month end is. I go through this every month, so you would think I would be used to it...but nope, every month I get this panic feeling come over me. There is just so much to do. So I better get going.

It sounds like you have a good plan for today. I haven't decided what I am doing today.
Yesterday, I did get my flower beds cleaned up abit. Then we started working on the new area on the east side of the house. We got 2 new bushes in, as well as put landscape cloth down and mulched. We will work on the rest of it today or tomorrow.
If I am not here for a day or 2, don't worry. We are going to make a fast trip to St. Louis for some family stuff. Just not sure when.

I am working today, still feeling a bit "off". Tonight, I start the meetings and rehearsals for the middle school drama group. Their show will be on August 13. I actually was supposed to attend a planning meeting last night and it completely slipped my mind. Between running kids to different ball games, then Olivia getting spiked in the foot, I completely forgot to show up at the theater! I hope my co-chairs will forgive me.
We are planning our vacation for next week. We will head to Milwaukee to spend a few days at t hotel, go to Summerfest and the Discovery Museum, then, we will head for the UP of Michigan to REALLY be in the "North Woods". No phones, computers, etc...... just a sauna, lake and nature.

Good Evening Everyone
Rain, rain go away, don't come again for awhile. It seems like it is doing nothing but raining here. We had another huge storm this morning and another due in tonight with a possibility of 80 mph winds. I dumped out 2 inches of water from this mornings storm. ENOUGH!!!! We have had over 9 inches since June 1.
Last night I got an estimate to have a form of gutter guards installed. I am doing it this time. I decided not to several years ago and regret it. I have a very hard time finding someone to clean out my gutters and I always ge****er in my basement when they are clogged so I am saying uncle and biting the bullet.
Work is going well. I am full of questions and learning lots. There is so much to learn but I think I am really getting an handle on most of my accounts. Two of them though are huge == State Farm and Boeing and I still have not learned all the ins and outs on these. Just when I think I have it down, a new issue pops up. At least they still recognize we are in training and dont have to do everything under a time limit.
That will come soon enough.
I am glad it is hump day!
Dawn, my sister has a house in the far north woods on the UP line. It is beautiful up there! Enjoy.

Sounds like most of us are having a great day! The upcoming wedding sounds fabulous.
Still doing the liquid diet and counting down my days until surgery.
I adopted the most adorable little dog from the Belleville Area Humane society. Her name is "Angel" and she truely is!
She won't be ready to "come home" until sometime next week as she is recovering from Spaying and a bacterial skin infection. She will be a WONDERFUL companion to come home to when I come out of the hospital. (Well we have two other dogs as well.) Bella our rescue Rottweiler and Monty which is my sons little ancient Rat Terrier.
I went out today and cleaned up the back porch and did some light chores and felt REALLY GOOD! If only it was a bit cooler out so I could for for a really nice walk. Still a major heat wave here in St.Louie area it was 99 here today with the humidity it was like around 102. Yuck!
Hoping by August I will be healed up enough for our yearly pilgrimage to the Bristol Renaissance Faire outside Kenosa WI. It's become a family tradition.

I know I'm late I'm five days post Opp. I had posted on another roll call about a horrible expiernce in getting my band. So finally here's everything that happened in a nutshell. I had posted this in a egroup that was affiliated with my surgon. I had written this while I was waiting for my tray after hours and hours and yes mor hours.
I have to say, I had higher expectations for my stay. It was a nightmare. I was to come in at 800am and did not get called back till 10am. Then once preped for surgery I had to wait an extremly long time ! By the time I was taken out it was 1pm. Then I waited in recovery till 700pm because my room wasn't cleaned. Then I get to my room and there were bloody sheets on my bed. I was furious because transportation thought I was going to lay in that bed. I ended up making my own bed with two sheets and a blanket. It was terrible. Then the next day was 1000times worse I don't want to get into it. The lap band staff was fabulos but the general surgery staff and the staff that took care of me. I was very disappointed. I'm glad I got the procedure done. I love the lapband staff but man the aftercare expierence was terrible. I'm been waiting for my nurse and cna for 3hours now. Still haven't gotten my tray I just wanna go home! Ill eat my chicken broth at home jeez. I hope that you all have a better expierence here then myself.
