Tuesday Roll Call
Good Morning All,
Not sure about everyone else, but I am going to walk this morning, before it gets hot and sticky. Also before the rain, again.
DH surprized me yesterday and we took off to Joliet and the gambleing boat. I wish I could say that we both won, but lady luck wasn't with us.
I then went to a support group meeting with Monica in Bloomington. It seems to be a nice group. I will probably attend more meetings.
What are you doing today?
Stay safe,

Another noisy day at my house. My day just includes enjoying the grand kids.
Took one of the boys yesterday for a Orthodontist appointment, and he got braces, he's loves them....We thought it was just a follow up to his expander, then he was told to pick his rubber band colors...Oh well we did not have any time to be nervous about getting them.
I am trying to be more active on here because it does help me stay true to myself. I have not really ate right since my sisters passing been way down in the dumps....I went to Sam's Club yesterday and got lots of fruit. Came home and the grandsons said we don't like strawberries and bananas together, well they ate 3 bowls each....I put a table spoon of whip top on it and they loved it....
Well I am going try to find a dry spot in the day and get my body outside for a walk!

I am back at work after a longer weekend than usual.
Liv is doing well now after her ear surgery. She was a bit surprised and cranky once the pain set in. She is better now and about back to normal. Right on schedule.
Riley's party on Saturday was fun, but I missed you all too.
We took Riley to a urological specialist in Arlington Heights yesterday and got good news. First of all, my daughter likes this doctor WAY better than the only one available in Rockford. Second, the new doctor agrees that the reflux is not as bad as the second doctor had diagnosed. She thinks that Riley will grow out of it and will just follow her case, no more invasive tests! After the doctor appointment, we took Riley to IKEA and then Rainforest Cafe for her birthday lunch. Not a bad way to spend a day off.
Now.....if I just could not be so cranky about being HERE, at work. I have to jkeep reminding myself that at least I HAVE a job........
I have to make a library run at lunch, then I have a meeting at the Playhouse this evening. I hope to get a bike ride or walk in there somewhere.
Everyone have a spectacular day!
We are only one degree over what we are to be today, 76. I can take that but I need Mr. Sun to come back out.
Pretty much have my nose to the grindstone today. Afterwards Dave and I are going to run errands. I need to go pick up a gift certificate during the errand time also. One of our past board members for my law enforcement group I belong to is retiring and we are giving it to her on Thursday.

I'm on a lunch break at work, so thought I'd pop in. Today, I'm just working, but I had a wonderful day yesterday. I was a chaperone for Emily's Girl Scout Day Camp. We are using a YMCA Camp Algonquin. It was both fun and exhausting working with 15 seven-year-olds! I was thrilled by the fact that I had no trouble traipsing up and down the 1/4 mile steep hill from one part of the camp to another and doing all the activities with them. That hill would have just about killed me last year, and yesterday I walked up it three times! I'm going again on Thursday. That makes my week pretty crazy cause I work 12 hr shifts today, Wed. and Fri. but I don't want to miss this time with my daughter.
Dawn, I'm glad Liv is recovering well. Surgery is always a scary thing!
Have a great day, everyone!

Another rainy day here. Anyone know how to stop the monsoon season? I am so tired of rain!
Work has flown by the last 2 days. I am not sure if it is because we are training or because it is the new hours but I will take it! I found out today that I get to keep my supervisor which I am happy about. I have never had a bad one there, but really like the one I have. One of my team mates both in my former team and in my new team is getting the new supervisor. I feel bad for her. I know how disappointed she is.
Baby still does not have a name but my sister thinks they have to have a name by the time they leave the hospital tomorrow. Nothing like a deadline to force an issue.
Everyone try to stay dry!
