Good Morning Chris and all my other friends I have missed and the ones I haven't met yet!!

It's been a while since I've been here!  I really need to come every day and check in with you all!  I have been SO busy with life lately that I have been forgetting about taking care of ME and my weight is showing it!  I need the support again and I know that I can find it here!

Kids are home for the summer, well out of school at least, it seems like one or the other always needs to be taken somewhere..lol.  I am finishing up my externship at the Kendall Immediate Care within the next few weeks and then I need to find a job that actually pays money!  I have also started school at Waubonsee community college to get started on the RN program!  I work (for free) Mon thru Thurs and Sat and/or Sunday's and go to school on Mon and Wed nights!  It's a lot but something I need to do for me.

How is everyone??  I miss you guys and am sorry I missed the meet and greet at Chris and Dave's house, we had a party here for Jacob's birthday and my great neice's too.  and unfortunately on the 14th of Aug, my kids are throwing me and my neice a "surprise" 40th and 30th birthday party!  lol

Well gotta run, have a sick kid here today too, so wanna check on him before I head out to work!  Have a fantastic day everyone and stay dry...if that's even possible lately!

Monica

I hate when my real life interfers with my cyber life!

I was looking for you at the Flyers game on Sunday.

Hello everyone

I am glad to see you on here Monica (although I see you on Facebook).

I had a great birthday weekend.  I went to the farmer's market yesterday and walked around the neighborhood.  I bought some veggies and fruit at the farmers' market.  My daughter would be happy, because buying produce from local farmers is good for the environment.

Well hopefully the week will go by quickly and as rain-free as possible.  I am getting a little sick of the rain.

Well I hope everyone has a nice day.

I love farmer markets! The ones we have around here are so lame and then the good ones around here are held while I am at work.

Good Morning,

It looks to be a washout for today and tomorrow, maybe summer will return with blue skys and sun eventually.

I am picking up the house this morning, then going to a support group this evening in Bloomington, with my Monica.

Have a great day, stay safe, and try to stay dry.
The only good thig with this rain, we don't have to water the garden.

Huggers,
LISA

This summer is starting out crappy and yes free water for the flowers, new sod and the veggies is great.

I forgot what the date is for Monica's surgery.

Awwww Monday.

My day of rest.

It looks like we will have enough rain to keep me off the walking trail today but not enough to keep me off the balcony.  Had a nice and busy weekend.  Saturday at Critine and Daves was very enjoyable and glad to meet Mary and Stephanie as well as the daughters and grand daughter.

Good day to try to put together some indoor exercises.  Maybe a mix of stairs, Wii Fit and my resistance toys.

So you have been forgiven?

 Good Evening Everyone!

I am actually on here fairly early!  My hours this week are 8 - 4:30pm.  Loved getting home early!  I had training all day today and the day really flew by.  It is amazing what starting a couple of hours earlier can do to your outlook.

Now, if I only can go to bed at a decent hour.   I had every intention of going early last night but......  I got hung up and then my sister called about midnight.

We have a new family member.  The baby (who is nameless as far as I know) was born last night about 11:25 pm after a LONG labor.  Kathy's water broke Friday morning.  And as luck would have it, she lives in Chicago and the hospital is a couple of blocks from the BlackHawks rally.   She ended up going to the doctor as the contractions were not close together and he sent her home.  She finally gave up yesterday and went into the hospital.  Contractions never did get close together so they had to move things along.  Baby weighs 9 lbs 4 ounces and is 21 inches long and is very healthy.  I guess he started crying before he was fully delivered.  My sister got to be present for the delivery.  Dad is not letting his son get too far away from him.  Good thing Kathy is breast feeding or I dont think she would even get to hold the baby.    Mom and son are doing great.

Well that's it for me today!
