Good morning to all you kids at heart. Let's see what do I have going today . . .  Oh yeah the Meet and Greet! Dave and I have been looking forward to it. First though I am going with my great neice to the Kane Group Pre Surg. Seminar. I will leave there before it is over so I am back home. Dave will be here so if anyone needs to call my house the phone will be answered.

Hello everyone

I am having a fun day.  We are going out for my birthday today.  We are going out to Fridays.  We were going to go mini golfing but it looks like rain so the replacement activity is a big secret.  Hmmmm.  I wonder what we are doing.  I am sorry I will be missing another party with you guys.  Maybe next time.  I am also sad I won't see my Amanda on my birthday. 

Yesterday, my work friends threw me a party at work.  They are great.  After work I went shopping.  I got an outfit to wear next Friday to Chicago.  I also finally bought a new bra.  woohoo old ones are getting to big.

Tomorrow I am going to go to Barnes and Noble to use my gift card.  Then maybe the farmers market.  we will see.

Ah, I remember that meeting well. Dread of the unknown, and knowing I was really starting the journey.

Monica and I will be leaving at 10 for your house. It will be a great day.

DH and I spent yesterday afternoon in the pool. Can I say it was nice.Then we went out for chinese with friends.

Give yourselves extra time because there is construction on I355 to I290. You went through it when you went to Woodfield.

Up and about.  My body is not yet ready to get ready.  As soon as it is we will be headed for Itasca.

 We had a great time at Chris and Dave's.  Thank you both for hosting all of us!  As always, the company was wonderful and it was great to see everyone again!  For those of you who were not there, you were missed.  Hopefully more can join us the next time we get together.  

I am home and still stuffed from all the wonderful food.  Dinner was a piece of cheese and a very small salad.  Now I am catching up on the computer.

Dave and I were just commenting on what a super day it was today. Yes it was great conversation and of coarse great low fat/sugar foods. Do you realize that there was not ONE single dessert today? We had fruit and veggies to end the meal - perfect in my eyes. The three girls had a wonderful time also!

This is my first roll call!   I am looking forward to getting know all of you people on this website.  I am just beginning my journey.  Right now I am deciding what surgery will be best for me, plus what my insurance will cover. 
This sounds like a great group.  I hope the next get together I am able to attend.

Hi Everyone, Sorry I missed Friday. Went to the doctor, looks like i'm losing a lb a day. I also have an infection in my incisions that he's concerned about. I'm on enough antibiotics to choke a horse, but I can tell the infection isn't making me feel to good. I feel sluggish, and want to sleep. He told me to call if I get a fever ASAP. No fever but I took the bandaid off, which by the way I cant' handle them, they are irratating my skin big time. Anyway, it looks worse than it did on Friday. So I guess I will call him on Monday an see if he wants me to come in, or just keep taking the meds. Problem isn't I've been taking them for over a week and they are 500 mgs, an it looks worse. I'm using gause and tape and put neosporin on it. An resting. I didn't even walk tonight. Even the dog likes the walking now, surprised she didn't bring me her leash.
