Wednesday Roll Call
Good Morning Illinois,
I am up too early so it is back to bed soon for me. When I do get up it will be a few phone calls some paperwork, straightening up my tools, and perhaps a bit of house straightening. Later it will be off to church to share dinner with Cheryl and some worship. I ended up repairing a scooter and a lift chair yesterday, My first customer yesterday turned out to be a bit difficult so I was glad to have the second one.
What is everyone else up to today?

Hello everyone
Man yesterday was so cold and wet. I was not dressed appropriately and I was cold most of the day. The movie was good..cute and funny. I recommend it to you guys. I had a terrible dinner last night...movie popcorn.
Today it's work again...like always. My birthday weekend is looking up. I have some plans on Saturday and Sunday.
I think today's weather is looking up. Enjoy your day

Its the same for me today work and then home. Thinking about going swimming at the local park district tonight. I will try to take one or two of my teenage sons with.
I took Monday off of work and will hopefully take my teens downtown Chicago for a boat ride and some culture. Well as much as they will let me do with them. Boys are so different then Girls.

We are on our way to the Loop again today. Dave mentioned the "Pre Taste of Chicago" at Daley Plaza and to see the fountain dyed red. We are not getting to the Taste of Chicago this year so this will be I time to enjoy it. More than likely we will walk around Grant and Millenium parks.

Good Morning Illinois,
I did go to Unemployment yesterday. The receptionist, that you get the forms from, wanted to know why I thought I could get unemployment. Duh, I'm unenployed for the summer. It really was one of those dumb questions.
We did take a nice walk early last evening, and we also went to look at some of the storm damage. I am sorry for the people on the south side of town, but I am glad the tornado didn't hit us.
Today I want to finish a quilt, at least to get the fluffy stuff in and a backing on it. That way I can get it tied off, I know my DGD will love it, since it is in her favorite color, all pinks. Plus, when it is done, it will be one more Christmas gift finished.I also need to make 2 baby quilts, for family babies that will be born later this year.

Good afternoon Randy and the rest of Illinois!
I am working and we are a bit busy today. I like that better than slow and boring.
I just spoke to the Children's Hospital and Liv's ear surgery is set for 4 pm tomorrow. We do not have to check in until 2:30. We will come into work here, then maybe leave a little early and visit Joe's before we go over there. Olivia LOVES Jo Jo's and its the least I can do is get her a box for her recovery. Thank you all for you love and support and if you can send good thoughts her way around that time, all the better. She is pretty much a "pro" at this, but still.........
She got home last night from her trip to the Dells and she had a great time. Tonight, I have to run out there to pick her up, then bring her back into town for her museum training for the year. Summer has begun!!!!
I went to the park at lunch and it was pretty darn nice out. Gotta love THAT!

Happy Wednesday,
I went to my first doctors appt today. Of course the doctor was late in arriving. But I did get my staples out, and it wasn't as painful as I thought it would be. I'm very grateful they are gone!
I've lost a total of 36.4 pounds. He shook my hand, I guess that's good. He told me to finish taking my antibiotics which I will. Told me I can walk any where I want and go to lift weights as long as it's not over 100 lbs. Not that I could lift 100 lbs. The only thing I couldn't do is swim. Which I like swimming, I'm just not in the swimming mood yet.
Told me I had to come back in a month. He also gave me a prescription to give myself shots of vitamin b-12 shots and that way I don't have to pay the $20.00 co pay each month at my pcp. Which I'm really happy about. YEAH!! Saves me some money.
