Good Monday to All,

Today is the start of another work week. I am starting my 2nd week of summer layoff, so I may run over to unemployment today. If not today, I will go tomorrow. I do want to pick up the house this morning, and I have to go to the bank and pay R.E. taxes today. Not the way I like to start a week.(spending money)

Hello everyone

Well it's Monday already.  My time goes by fast on the weekends. 

I have nothing going on today but working.  My person on short term diability comes back today.  So I am happy about that. 

One of my friends wants to take me to Chicago on the 18th for my birthday.  So if you had the day to spend in Chicago what would you do???  The possibilities are endless and faced with all of these choices I can't make up my mind. 

Well I hope everyone tries to enjoy their Monday.

If it was me going up to Chicago for the day, I would want to be on the beach and going to a neat spot for either lunch or dinner. Maybe find a farmers market or flea market. Maybe the new Maxwell Street Market or even China Town for Din Sum. Or if it was cooler, going to the Art Institute.

Ooooo...I would love to go to Maxwell Street Market.  How is the parking there, do you know?

I had a very nice, but busy, weekend. 

Friday night, I dropped David off at camp to complete his Order of the Arrow Ordeal.  He was not allowed to speak from the 7 pm beginning ceremony until the closing ceremony at about 10 pm on Saturday night.  They slept under the stars (to tent or shelter) on Friday night and did hard manual labor all day Saturday.  They could drink all they needed, but minimal food.  He said that while he was doing it, it was very difficult.  Saturday night, they were stuck under a pavillion for 3 hours while it stormed (still no talking.....)  They got wet because the rain was being driven in sideways.  By the time we picked him up at 9 am yesterday, he was talking about what a GREAT experience it was.  I am very proud of him (and relieved that the storm was not worse where he was.....)
We dropped Liv off at 7:30 yesterday morning to go to the Dells with her Girl Scout troop.  They have a very busy few days planned.  She will be home later tomorrow night.  She then will have her ear surgry on Thursday.

Yesterday evening, Todd and I went to a meeting with many from his softball team.  They are planning on doing a 5 day cruise as a group next August.  We are going to try to commit to saving $$ for this since it sounds like a lot of fun.

Back to work today.  Fun, fun, fun!

Not much going on.

I have put on my sweat pants and am trying to convince myself to get out for my 1.1 mile walk and the gym.

Oh, Ilso got two twety four inch planters attached to the ends of my balcony and put dirt in them.

been a very hard day, waiting for the death results! I can not eat everytime I try I get so sick, not from the band from stress.

This is such a hard time for you.  Try to take care of yourself.  Maybe your doctor can give you some meds to help you calm down.  Many people get something when there is a death in the family.  Don't hesitate to call him.  If you need to talk,  I am here.

 Evening everyone!

Yesterday was such a nice day it was hard to go to work today knowing I was going to be cooped up in a cube and tied to a phone via a headset.  Wish I had stayed home.  Every call seemed to be difficult to resolve -- just one of those days.  We were also very busy.  So I am glad the day is over.  

I have tomorrow off and I am looking forward to that.  It is supposed to rain again but I need to do laundry so that will give me something to do.

Well Monday is almost over. I sort of feel like Eyeore on Winnie the Pooh.
Always the last one in to say Hello.   But he was still very much loved, I might
add.
Sort of sluggish today,  ok there is no sort of, I'm definetly sluggish today.  Went to the doctor again, I'm a blood thinner girl have been on them for 22 years. After surgeries
it's alot of guessing and playing with dosages to get the right level. So
it's now at the right level, they just want to make sure it stays at that level.
So I go back again on Friday, an then on Wednesday I get to see my 
surgeon. I get these nasty staples out of my body. Thank goodness.

Today the fire department was at the house. I came home to my mom's house
also my house to find that a light hazy smoke filling 2 rooms. I thought maybe
 it was the microwave, because it is older. But nope it's the refrigerator which
is Newer. Called the local appliance store an they advised calling Maytag
directly, they gave the number. By doing this, you do NOT have to pay for a
service call and this way can immediately find if there were any recalls on the
product.

Yes there was a re-call on the product. So on Saturday which was the earliest, they
could come out, we will not have to pay for the service call. An hopefully the re-call on it
is why it won't work. Keep your fingers crossed!!!
