Paying for wls

HI,

This is the first time I have posted anything, so please bear with me.  I am very interested in wls and my doctor says that  I would be a good candidate; however, my insurance won't pay for it.  Are there any well-respected physicians in Illinois that accept other payment options?

My doctor, Dr Jeff Rosen has info on self pay. Are you up to coming out to the suburbs? Please consider calling his office.  He is in Downers Grove. Just also wanted to invite you to come and rub elbows with other pre op and PO patients to the next Meet and Greet  which will be at my house in Itasca. The following is a cut an paste of the last message that I posted on the daily roll call. Come in and join us when you feel comfortable.

As Lisa mentioned on the daily roll call I am having the next Meet and Greet at my house in Itasca on the 12th. We try to have a couple a year either in someone's home or a clubhouse. It is a pot luck, family is welcome (spouses/signifcant others, children or come as a single). PM me if you can make it and I will give you my address and phone numbers.

Thank you for the information and the invite.  I will definitely contact Dr. Rosen.  I won't be able to make it on the 12th (family reunion meeting), but I'd like to keep in touch.  I'm in the "thinking about it" stage of wls, so the more info I get, the better.
