Wedneday Roll Call

Hello everyone

Well yesterday was not a good day at work.  My computer completely died out on me.  It took the IT department 4 1/2 hours to replace it.  I was stuck doing nothing for hours (everything we do is computerized).  I was so bored.  Then my boss told me if they don't get a computer up and running by noon I should just go home.  Well at 11:56 I got a new computer.  I didn't know if I should be happy...it would have been nice to go home early.

Last night I didn't sleep well, the thunder was so loud it kept waking me up.  It was hard for me to get back to sleep after being startled out of a deep sleep so many times.  Normally I love sleeping during a storm but not last night.

Speaking of the storm when I left this morning I noticed that the storm basically flattened all my flowers...are they ruined now???  Will they straighten back out?  Because they are just laying there looking pathetic.

Well I better get going.  I hope everyone has a nice day.

Good morning Crystal and the rest of Illinois!

Your flowers SHOULD straighten out, even if they broke, the plants should come back with new flowers.  It may take a little bit of time though.

I am working today, then home for some relaxation.  I have not slept well for the last 2 nights.  Maybe it is in the air.

Liv is selling Gold Canyon Candles to raise $$ to become a cheerleader.  Who knew it was more expensive to be a cheerleader than a football player????  I will check the scents (as soon as she wakes up) and get back to you Crystal.  Thank you for your interest.

If anyone else needs these, let me know.  Liv gets 50% of each candle sold to help pay her expenses.  The money is turned in when you order.
$14.50 for an 8 oz, $18.50 for a 16 oz, and $22.00 for a 26 oz.
We will ship them to you (no additional charge) if needed.
I prefer to just give cash.........

Besides that, not too much happening in my corner.

Everyone have a wonderful day!

Tell someone that you love them!

in Texas the school normally paid for the football uniforms.  My daugters cheerleading outfits cost around 900 dollars and we were very greatful and very active for and in the fund raisers so our only cost was a good bit of time put into fund raising.  I try to stop now whenever I see a bunch of young girls having a car wash.  I am sorry that candles and I do not get along.

I would like to order the large 22oz strawberry shortcake.  PM me your address and I will send you cash.  I have a weakness for scented candles

Good  Morning,

Crystal, when the flowers dry out a bit, they should come back. I haven't looked at mine yet.

We must of had a good storm too. My DGG  woke us up because she was scared. Storm damage: Lack of sleep last night, 1 bench overturned, 1 light seared off of the house, 1 storm door sprung.

today i  wanted to work on things outside, but not sure about the rain yet. Otherwise, I need to do some housework.

Have a great day, stay safe.

Huggers,
LISA

Ouch.  That is a lot of damage.  Was that hail or wind?

You work so hard and so much I am sure you could have used the You time.  I am always too worried that taking time off would show up as a bad mark to really enjoy such times though.

Hi everyone,
I am Susan from Ill...I do not have all my tests done yet but have 2 more before I get a surgery date. All these tests and these are only preop.
I need all the support I can get. I need to get the Lap Band for medical reasons...I am a bit scared because of my age 55 so if there is anyone out there who has had the LB surgery and is my age please drop a line.

Susan, let me the one of the first to tell you, you are in for the time of your life. BTW, I was 61 when I had  lapband. So, don't let your age scare you.

We are here to support you. We have all been where you are now.

Christine is having a meet and greet at her home in Itaska on the 12th. Look back for all of the info. You can meet a lot of us there. Plus our daily roll calls are where we catch up with each other.

Lisa
