Saturday Roll Call

Hello everyone

I am up bright and early.  I have a list of things I would like to do today.  I have Peapod coming today.  Which by the way I love Peapod.  It's great one less thing for me to worry about.  And it will be great in the winter.  I have to see about dropping off my vaccum at that fix it shop, then I have a manicure.  I am also going to go clean my car inside and out.  Then I am going to see Sex and The City 2 and then Chipotle (my favorite place).  Then we are going to take a nice walk by the Fox river.  I don't know if I ever told you I live about 2 blocks from the river.  Very nice to go walking by the river.   

Yesterday I went shopping.  I got the two books I was looking for.  Then I went to Yankee Candle, I got a coconut candle and a fruit salad one.  They had a candle sale!!!  At Lane Bryant I got a great outfit. 

I lost 2 more pounds!!!! Woohoo!!!! 

Well I'm going to go make some eggs for myself.  Have a wonderful day.

I am spending this morning on errands, then going to a flea market when DH gets home. Then whip up  Dawn's turkey burgers for supper (minus the buns). Not  sure what the sides will be, but I am sure I will think of something.

I am going to the farmers market this morning, I am hoping to get some goodies there. I was not planning on taking a walk this morning, but I think with all the errands I have planned, I will  manage to get some walking in.

Good Morning All,

I haven't posted since my surgery because I was one of the lucky ones that had a less than 1% complication. As Dr. Lahmann put it, I like to bleed.

I am so greatful for him, Dr. Joyce and the staff at Silver Cross. I'm very lucky they were available to go back in and fix it. I'm on the road to recovery and getting stronger every day.

Not doing to much today. I might work on my tan a little.

Jennifer, congratulations on coming through your surgery. When you get a chance go in and look at the thread I posted on a Meet and Greet coming up on the 12th at my house in Itasca.

I cannot believe that I slept until almost 730 this morning, not normal for me.

We have been to the grocery store, Osco, Ace and the flower nursery. Now I am on my way out to the 3 season room to clean out there. Later on this afternoon we will be at Willow to serve dinner to the stage team.

Another nice weekend in store for us!  Hope everyone has a great and safe holiday.  I am going to run some errands today.  Tomorrow, I am going up to my sister's house in Antioch.  

It will probably be the last time I see my great nieces for a long time (if ever)  They are moving to Ohio and their Mom is playing games.  She wasn't supposed to move until the end of June but now is saying she is moving this week.  I hate divorce!  I just pray she cooperates on visitation.  It is so sad.

I will also get to see my niece who is due with her baby in a couple of weeks.  I hear she is huge!  
So it should be a fun weekend.  

I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the meet and greet.  

My daughter's father hasn't been in her life for over ten years now.  It has caused my daughter pain.  I don't understand women who would do this voluntarily to their kids...especially when the father wants to be in their lives.  These selfish women aren't good mothers...they are letting their petty feelings get in the way of the children's relationship with their father.  If Amanda's father was a good man and father I would love for him to be in Amanda's life.  Maybe in your case she will see what she is doing to her kids before she does any damage to them.  I am so sorry for family.  Continue a relationship with them if possible via email, phone letters.
