Wednesday Roll Call

Hello everyone

Friday can't come fast enough.  Amanda will be home for the weekend!!!  I'm so very impatient.

One of my co-workers will be out for 3 weeks, she is having foot surgery.  Not only am I sad because she is my best work buddy but I am her back up.  So double the work for me...yuck.

I was thinking about getting a manicure.  I usually do my own nails but I'm thinking about splurging.  I don't know we will see.

Up too early again but I am pretty sure I am on my way back to bed.

I ended up walking two miles yesterday as well as doing my universal work out for an hour.  Not feeling sore just a bit tingly this morning.  The area of my legs that used to be swollen all the time is letting me know I did something they are not happy with but not really painful.

The computer is back up, We had to replace the modem. Verizon was great about it, They had it here yesterday. We called for it after 3 p.m. on Monday.

Roadwork update. We have a sidewalk coing up to our porch, and the lower part of the driveway in. All the "Do Not Cross," tape is down.
Now, hopefully we get the street done and the yard done.

Crystal, go get a manicure. You deserve it.

Randy, your legs aren't use to the workout you are giving them.

Chris, have a great weekend at the dells.

Yeap, all packed for the weekend in the north woods, WOOHOO! Just have a few last minute things that have to be packed the day you leave.

Have a meeting in Naperville today then off to the Creek to serve dinner to the stage team in the tunnel under the stage.



edited to add - I actually need to drive to Darien for my meeting which is further than Naperville and a little opposite direction from where I would go to the Creek.

Good morning Crystal and the rest of Illinois!

I am working about 5 hours today then going to Liv's 8th Grade Awards and Recognition Ceremony.  For some reason, they hold this at 1:30 in the afternoon.  I feel bad for those kids whose parents CAN'T go due to work.  Luckily, both Todd and I have flexibility.

It is hard for me to believe that soon, I will only have high school aged kids.  Where does the time go?

Liv's audition should have went well last night.  The part is for a 13 year old genius with an attitude.....  She was cranky as all get out, so we will see.

Crystal, go for the manicure.  They seem to last longer when it is professionaly done.  I can't keep polish on my nails when I do them myself.  It just chips away as soon as I do my first dish.

Lisa, glad to hear that the construction is getting done.

Chris and Dave---I KNOW you will have a great time in the Dells.  You always do!

I heard on Facebook that Paullette's knee surgery went well and she is recovering and getting ready for PT.

 Evening everyone!

I am just finishing up dinner that will last forever.  I haven't had carry out chicken from one of our local places in years.  I forgot how much food that comes with this!   I think I will be eating off of this for a week.  Not only do you get chicken, but salad, and spaghetti and ravs.   Never heard of serving ravs/spaghetti with chicken until I moved to this area.  That's the Italian influence or our area.  

I enjoyed my day off yesterday and am looking forward to another day off tomorrow!  I am starting to feel a little better but I really tire out by mid afternoon.  

No special plans for the weekend but plan to enjoy the nice weather.  

It sounds like there are some great plans in the works for everyone.  Enjoy!
