Roll Call - Good Morning Illinois!
I had a blast over the weekend. Prom was on Saturday so I was busy helping my fiance's daughter prepare. She was beautiful. We drove out to Forreston, IL yesterday for a graduation party. It was really nice to meet more of Mike's family and we had a really good time.
I plan on running indoors on my treadmill since it's raining in the southern 'burbs. I'm going to plan my menu for the rest of the week because the carb monster is calling my name.
Have a GREAT day Illinois!
Hello everyone
I have today off, so no work for me. I'm glad too because it is all gray and rainy outside. A perfect day to be lazy.
Yesterday I walked to the local book store and spent too much money. I also checked out the new library. It just opened Saturday. I live right across the street from the library and it was so nice and peaceful with the library closed. Believe it or not even though I am a huge book worm I never go to the library. Mainly because I like to own my books. I haven't checked out a book at the library since 2001.
Well my daughter called yesterday and I am pretty sure she has her plans set now. She would like to go to University of Illinois-Chicago to get her Masters in Urban Planning. I am excited because she will be much closer to me. I can visit more often. Her fiancee is open to go where ever she wants to go. He will follow her literally to ends of the Earth. She wants to join the Peace Corp after her Masters and the two of them will go together to a third world country.
Well I hope everyone enjoys their Monday.

Forreston is not too far from me. I attended a funeral there a few weeks ago.
I am back to work after a great weekend. The party went very well and a great time was had by all.
After work today I may stay in town and go to the Rockford Group. I need to find out where Liv's track meet is and when she will need to be picked up and if the schedules allow, I will be there.
Wednesday, Liv has her 8th Grade "recognition". They do awards for 7th & 8th grades, then mention how the 8th graders will be in high school next year. Not really a graduation but nice. I agree that they do not REALLY "graduate" until after senior year. She is excited and will be wearing the dress.
Tha'ts about it for me......hope you all have a spectacular day!
At least I think it is still morning. My home cumputer will not let us on the internet, so until we call the tech line, we won't be on.
I am at work, working hard

We had a great day yesterday at our Granddaughters Birthday party. Then I planted a few flowers when I got home. I was going to pick up the rest of the plants after work, but with the rain and all, I really don't think this is a good day to do it.
Crystal, I loved the pictures of you and Amanda. She does look like you. You both look so happy.
Ok, I am back to work.
Stay safe, stay dry.L,ISA
If I am putting on sweats and tennis shoes I might as well take a walk while I am out and if I can find my card maybe I will lift some weights. See you on the other side.
