Wooohoooo!! Finally got ahold of the nurse and my surgery date is June 21st! YAYYYYYYYY I am so excited! I know the weeks will fly by, we already so much going on and then to know that my journey to get to this point is almost over! Well that just makes it all the much sweeter.

I can't wait for my next journey to begin. I feel like my life is being lived in 2 acts, the first act is winding up and allowing for the 2nd act to unfold after this surgery. I will know life as life before surgery and then life lived after surgery.

I plan to make the most of it. I will not let this gift of this new tool go to waste. I will endeavor to finally live the life I've imagined.

I am so happy, estatic.

I'm so happy for you Carol! And in June like you wanted. Only a little more than a month away. I sure wish you the best of luck. I can tell you that for me, it was so much easier than I planned on. Everyone told me the first 2 months are miserable but for me, maybe the first 2 weeks were hard but not miserable and after that, it was fine. I'm only 7 weeks out and feel just about back to normal.

Can't wait for you to join us on the loser's bench!
