Friday Roll Call
Hello everyone
Yeah!!! Today is Friday!!! I have a three day weekend too!!!
Today after work I have to do groceries and run some errands. Then I have to come home and get all the food ready for tomorrow. I am making vegetarian lasagna, meatballs (for the carnivores) garlic bread and this Carmel cake that is my daughter's favorite. I figured this is better than any restaurant.
I am a planning type person. I like to have all details planned and budgeted. Well I still don't know who is coming with me tomorrow and this is driving me crazy!!! There is still some question about 2 people. If they come we will have to take two cars and change some plans. I can't take this anymore. I need to know NOW!!! Are you coming or not....GRRRRR
Well at least there is no rain today. Enjoy your Friday.
It is looking to be a nice day. At least I hope so. I want to weed my perennial garden today, and see where I need more plants. Then get to the nursery and get tomatoes and things. This may be a bit ambitious on my part, but we will see.
That is my plan for today. What are you doing?
Tomorrow we are going to Havanna, Mason County Pet Shelter is having a Dinner Auction, and my sister is a volunteer for them. We try to go every year. It is for a good cause.
Sunday is our DGD 12th birthday party/BBQ, She is growing up so fast.
Have a great day, Stay safe.
Huggers, LISA
I am slowly going insane. My surgeon's office called yesterday to schedule my RNY and I MISSED THE CALL!! Spent all day yesterday trying to get ahold of the nurse who does the schedule and she never called back.
So today I am stalking her. I already called once to find out she should be in around 8:30. So I'm going to call again at 8:35 and every 5 minutes after that until I speak to her. I want my date and I want it NOW. It is because I want to move on with this 'final' step but also because I need to be able to plan out the rest of our summer with the kids and the multitude of activities.
Yes, I am a freak. I admit it, I embrace it.
I had a great day off yesterday with David! The kidney clinic says that he looks good---no stones--and he does not have to go back for a year. We had a nice lunch and then picked up the Nickelback tickets that I won. He is excited that I will be taking him to the concert and is not embarrassed to be going with his mom! All in all, a great day!
I am back at work today, then looking forward to the neighborhood party we are having tomorrow to celebrate David's birthday and 3 other neighborhood birthdays. We are having a pot luck cookout and fire. That last Christmas tree may even get burned.
That's about it for me!
Happy Friday!
