Thursday Roll Call

Hello everyone

Again the weather stinks.  I am happy to say it looks like the weather will be cooperating this weekend.  Next weekend so far it looks well.  But so much could change till then.  All this worry about the weather because of an outdoor party.  Just think my daughter wants to have an out door wedding...I don't know if that's the best thing.  

I am so happy I get to see my daughter in two days and she will be a graduate.  

I am bummed...I forgot my breakfast.  No eating till lunch for me.

How could there be so much rain? Seemed like a short night with all the thunder and lightening. Oh well, time to focus on other things. We need a new phone in the computer room so I'm heading for Office Depot later and probably to Starbucks. They have a great yogurt which I can take to lunch. Right now a nap seems like an idea but once I get moving I hope I'll forget about it!

Crystal, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you for this weekend.  Have fun with your daughter.

We had a great day down in Arthur/Arcola yesterday.  It rained a little on the way down and then was nice the rest of the day.

I'm heading to the gym now, then therapy, then a hair cut.  Wishing this rain would stop but sounds like we've got quite a bit more headed our way today.

Yes, Christine, that is where we always eat.  I was only able to have a chicken thigh but it was good.  You are right, I love that gift shop too!  Bought the prettiest bracelet and they have the nicest cards.

Well, rain or not, I have to take the car in for its 6000 checkup this morning. Also heading to the store. ( Krogers is just 1/4 mile from the car place)

I also have a few things I want to do in the house this morning. I also want to get the rest of my garden plants this weekend.

A suggestion Crystal, take a few protein bars to work with you and leave them in your desk. That way, when you forget your lunch, you have something with you. I keep a few in my office, just for those times.

Yes, it stinks the weather that is. I am not one much to complain but now I am especially since there isn't any relief in our yards yet. My corner flooded and I got out of the driveway in the nick of time as the water from the corner 60' down was already starting to come up my drive. Our neighbor to the south of us has water completely surrounding their garage.

Going to be connecting my new 'puter to our network at home tonight and get additional software loaded that it needs. I have all the e-mails sent to people for the new address change. We bought our own domain so we can now take our address with us no matter where we get our internet provider from.

Two weekends ago I hosted an outdoor party and it was a nail-biter until minutes before the party. Hang in there!

Doing the usual kiddie shuffle today, with the addition of raincoats and rainboots.

I think I need another iron infusion. I am tuckered out at the end of every day. I was low on iron before my DS and it's still a problem, not exactly shocking, but annoying nonetheless. I really should call the hematologist today. I really MUST call the hematologist today. (See? The power of affirmative thinking! Maybe I will do it. Tee hee.)
