Friday Roll Call

Hello everyone

Yeah!!! It's Friday!!!

Well I went to the Good Samaritan support group with a friend that just had surgery.  I met Christine...Christine it was nice finally meeting you.  Dr Rosen was very nice and very comical.  What I liked the most was it is a small group.  The support group at Silver Cross is so large it has to be help in the auditorium.  I don't like big impersonal groups, that's the reason I don't go.  Dr. Osborn was great.  On the way home we were all agreeing that maybe we should start seeing a therapist...couldn't hurt.   

Today is a rainy lazy day or I wi**** was lazy.  I have to work.  When ever it is stormy like this it makes me sleepy.  Driving into work wasn't so bad. 

Today is work and then laundromat...fun!!! NOT.

Good Morning,

It looks to be a rainy day. Not happy about that. I have some errards to run, including bills to pay, picking up DH shirts, normal Friday stuff.
I also want to make a dent in the hosecleaning.

My Dr. visit went well. He upped one of my meds, and told me I am good for another year.  I will take that.

We will be heading for Yorkville on Sunday, staying home tomorrow. I may try to get some of the garden in over the weekend. If not, I want to get the rest of whatat I need. Also try to dig out a bit of the bushes I want to get rid of.

Good morning!

The rain woke me up too but I "forced" myself to go back to sleep. Have I mentioned that I love being retired? I just finished knitting a lovely lace shawl and started on a sweater last night.

Morning, everyone,

I was happy to see the rain, I don't have to water all I got planted this week!  I went and got the tomato plants yesterday but will wait to plant the garden till after this weekend.  They are talking about frost Saturday night.

Finally have a quiet day today so will catch up on house cleaning and some ironing.  I might run to the Hallmark store to get some cards for the month and I've got a $10 coupon for Penney's which also costs me too much.  Need some new underwear, mine is sticking up way over my jeans! 

I just heard thunder again so we must be in for another round. 

Connie, your shawl sounds so pretty, today will be a great knitting day!

Lisa, glad your check up went well and you're done for another year!

Crystal, Happy Friday.  Hope the day at work goes fast for you and just think how good you'll feel when all the laundry is done!  LOL.

Crystal, nice meeting you also. Sorry that I was not more congenial but I have been really tired the last several days. By the way it is Dr Rosen's support group not Good Sam's. Just wanted to clairfy as people will think that the hospital puts on a support group. The hospital partners with LWB for advertising the program and provides the room for holding the pre surgical seminars. In order to participate in the support group you need to be a patient or guest of a patient in order to attend. DR R always has relivant topics and the patients help with the suggestions for them. We do not have the same ole, same ole topic year after year.

Good morning Crystal and the rest of Illinois!

Dreary, dreary day.  Oh well, not much we can do about it.

I am working for a while today, maybe until 2.  Then home to get ready for my middle school theater group.  David is camping with his Jamboree Troop all weekend and Todd has a softball game if it dows not get rained out.

Tomorrow, I need to take Olivia shopping for a dress and maybe a few other pieces.  She has a budget of about $100.00.  I was thinking of starting at the Penny's outlet and Burlington Coat Factory, then Kohl's if nothing is found.  Any other suggestions?
