Good Morning Illinois,

It is looking to be a nice spring day. Get out and enjoy it. The super heat will be upon us faster then we know.

For those that have been following the road project in front of our home, we now have real sidewalks. They will be working on the driveway approches today.

I am heading to EGV today to see my heart doctor. Its my annual visit. I am not looking for any problems. I am feeling great.

What are you doing today?

Stay safe,

Huggers,
LISA

Hello everyone

I got my highlights and I love them.  Why did I not do this sooner???

My daughter called me last night and she's sick.  She has finals and papers to worry about and now she's sick.  Poor Amanda.  Next weekend I get to see her!!!

Well tonight I might go to a support group at Good Samaritan.  A friend of mine just got RNY surgery a couple of weeks ago and she invited me and my friend to go with her.  We will see I may have to stay late.  If that happens then I can't go.

Lisa- good to hear about the sidewalks.  Sometimes it seems these construction projects take forever.

I hope everyone has a nice day.

Wahoo--real sidewalks! Good for you, fancy lady! Tee-hee.

I'm doing the usual kid shuffle. Some volunteering at my son's school. Some errands.

BTW, we checked out the Brookfield Zoo's new bear exhibit the other day. It was cool. You get to get fairly close to a bald eagle and the bears' new areas are very nice. Hudson the polar bear is a riot! So playful and fun, jumping in and out of the water.

Enjoy today!

Good morning Lisa and the rest of Illinois!

Good luck at the doctor and glad to hear that the construction is moving along.

Sorry to hear that Amanda is sick.  Sometimes, stress will do that!

I have not been to Brookfield Zoo since I was a little kid.  Maybe I should take the granddaughter.  We always got to Lincoln Park, but maybe we should expand our horizons.

Working today, then home to do the grilling thing.  I am going to do the Lime-jalapeno chicken that I posted yesterday and will come up with great flavors for the other meats.

I found out last night that Liv is going to audition for a part with Rockford's Artist Ensemble!  It is for a 13 year old girl with a genius IQ---doesn't sound like much of a stretch for her...;-).  She emailed the director on her own.....I did not find out until he replied!  Way to take initiative!

We are going shopping for a dress for her this weekend.  I think it will be an all-girl thing with Amber and Riley.  Not sure if it will be fun or torture.....wish for fun!

Everyone have a spectacular day!

Tell someone that you love them!

Getting major hospital bills paid by the HMO is fantastic.

Rant start:

Dealing with all the small bills that get billed wrong and do not get paid is torture.  Cleared a few hundred dollars out this morning though and got assurance another few hundred dollars worth would be reprocessed and paid.  Seems the companies should pay me for clearing those up for them.  I guess my pay will be when there nasty little window envelopes quit showing up here.

Rant end:

Now to enjoy some of this sunshine.

Randy

So you have been forgiven?
