Good Morning all! I was a little out of it last night in that I woke up from a little nap after we got home from Yorktown that I thought I had to go to work today and then before I feel asleep last night I set the alarm for "work" today. Pleaseant surprize of it being Sunday when I finally woke up.

Got my java brewing and am just about ready to face the day. We have water in the back yard so I have to turn the pump on in a short while. We have all been give the good news that the village is going to trench our back yards to help with the water this summer sometime. I had not believed it when I heard it a month or so ago until this last week that I spoke with the guy that signs  my pay check - the village president that it is true we are getting drains to help with the water situation.

Time to get ready for Willow in a short while but first yesterday I treated myslef to some new makeup with my gift card and put some extra $$ to it and bought some bareMinerals by Bare Escentuals. I was able to get a started kit. Last night I watched the DVD that came with it and tried it on and it is really nice feeling - light. I wear a similar version now by Revlon.

What is going on in your world

 &

Chris

Hello everyone

I am relaxing...somewhat today.  After two days of running around and having fun.  I am going to do some house work.

Well yesterday was fun.  We went to the flea market and spent too much money.  Like I said before I love those fake designer purses.  I bought 4...One good thing about living at work, is all of the overtime money.  Then we went to the movies to see A Nightmare on Elm Street.  It was just ok...I like the old one better.  Then we wenr to Michaels and Target.  I got home about 5pm.  I decided to order take out from Chilis.  Then I came home and relaxed.

I will see my daughter in two weeks!!!  When I told my daughter that she said "don't say that it just reminds me I have 3 papers and 4 finals before then"  My poor baby she worries too much about tests and papers.  She always stresses out when it comes to this and it's always been my job to calm her down an reassure her.  She is a perfectionist that thinks she never does good enough.

Christine- Let me know how you like that makeup.  I've always wanted to try it.

Well I'm off to enjoy my Sunday

Have a great Sunday

Crystal, so far I love the makeup. There are a couple more steps to applying it compared to just foundation, powder and blush but I do believe that I will get used to it over time. I love the feeling of it on the skin - actually you do not even know it is there. It is soft and feels like your natural skin.

Be advised that when you go to purchase it for yourself if you do so that it is pricey but it is very concentrated and you do not use as much of this product like you use of other makeups. I just bought the started kit. The powders you buy individually can be thrown into your purse or bag as the containers have little slide closers for them.  See this as an example: http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P240604&shoul dPaginate=true&categoryId=5737

Good morning, Christine and Illinois,

Glad you're going to get some relief for your water problems, Christine, that has always got to be a worry, especially if you are out of town when it rains.  You are going to love that make up, it feels so light and really looks nice.

I've got a bridal shower this afternoon and then our neighbors are having a cook out tonight so should be a fun day.

Have a good Sunday everyone.

Lynn

Lynn, yes it is good to see the light at the end of the tunnel with the water situation and I am actually even looking forward to when they trench even if it causes a mess in the yard. Anything is better than the mess we have with the water.

I love the makeup so far. Of course I loved the Revlon version also but this has better coverage even if there are more steps to applying it. It is also more expensive but very concentrated and you do not need much so the purchase will go for a long time.

Good Morning Chris ,

I'm glad it's Sunday and sad it's Sunday. Sundays mean watching Sunday Morning on TV, but it also means it is the last day of the weekend. So, whatever didn't get done in the last couple of days, gets done this morning.

I am not sure what I am making for dinner today. I need to go to the store and see what looks good. I also want to take a walk, and maybe work on a gardening project. I am thinking of redoing the bushes on the East side of the house. We have had flowering ones for years, and we really trimmed them back the other day. I am leaning to evergreens, low maintenance once they are in.

Have a great Sunday, keep dry and safe.

Huggers,
LISA

I am heading out to the backyard soon also. I have my annual flowering vines to plant and hopefully I will get my carrot seeds in also.

I have a book reserved at the library titled Square Foot Gardening that I am going to walk down and get after they open at 1PM.

Hi Everyone,

It's my first post to the daily roll call.

Today I'm doing housework and laundry to keep my mind occupied. I have my pre-op class tomorrow. I'm getting nervous about this as I have a few flights for work trips between than and my surgery. Hope everything I need for the pre-op is TSA approved.

Luckily, work understands and they are keeping me on the ground for a while after the surgery.

Have a wonderful day everyone!
