Surgeons near Dixon, IL?

I have a co-worker who is looking for a bariatric surgeon near his home of Dixon, IL.  Can any of you recommend a bariatric surgeon in the Rockford, DeKalb or Quad City area please?  I have told him about the ones in Peoria already.

I highly recommend Dr. Leslie McClellan in Harvard IL.  It is about 15 miles east of Rockford.  I know that is probably further than he wants but she is excellent.  There is also Dr. Heydari in Woodstock/Crystal Lake.  

I used Dr McClellan and cannot say enough good about her.  I really feel she is an excellent surgeon who is highly qualified.  I am so happy I went to her.  It is well worth the trip.  For me it is a 1 1/2 hour drive but I have found it very workable.  Most labs and tests can be done at your local hospital so you only need to go there for the surgeon visits.

I am from Dixon, and there not really anything close by for him to go to....there is Harvard, Woodstock (Dr. Hedayri). Genesis Medical Center in Iowa (close to the Quad Cities), I started looking in Madison, WI too at UW (Dr. Garren). There is the Kane Center in Hoffman Estates. So not really anything close, but excellent choices! I pray this helps, have a blessed day, and I pray your friend's journey isn't too long!

There is also Dr. Rosen in Downer's Grove, my sis-n-law went to him from Dixon, and he did an excellent job with her!!! I believe he goes to Aurora too, that's about an hour away from Dixon
