A couple of ?s

My questions are has anyone with the medical card went to Carle in Champaign for the Lap Band?   This Wednesday will be my 4th of 6 months appts with my reg dr.  I am goin to see the surgeron and diettitian next month for the first time.  How long after that will I be having my surgery.

All I have heard so far is that the average time is 3-6 months.  A lot depends on what tests need to be done the results of them.  Its pretty much just a waiting game.
