Monday Roll Call
Hello everyone
I can't believe the weekend is over already. This week will be busy and stressful. I'm already wishing for Friday. Fiscal year end is almost over!!!! Woohoo!!!
I had a nice weekend. I love my new laptop. Sometimes you don't realize how bad your old stuff is until you have new.
Yesterday, I watched Precious. It was a really good movie.
Well I hope everyone enjoys their Monday.

Crystal, it's Monday, how can we enjoy it?
We had a great weekend in the St. louis area. We seen family and friends and ate at places we love, with people I grew up with. 2 of my 3 best friends still live in the area, so we get to see them whenever we get time to go down.
I was able to get to Coldwater Creek and use my gift cards. I spent a good hour looking around and deciding how to get the most value out of what I had.
Today, it is back to work.

Crystal, it's Monday, how can we enjoy it?
We had a great weekend in the St. louis area. We seen family and friends and ate at places we love, with people I grew up with. 2 of my 3 best friends still live in the area, so we get to see them whenever we get time to go down.
I was able to get to Coldwater Creek and use my gift cards. I spent a good hour looking around and deciding how to get the most value out of what I had.
Today, it is back to work.

Good Morning Everyone!
Boy do weekends go fast! I think you blink and they are gone! Yesterday was a pretty afternoon. I cam home from the grocery store and ended up sitting outside and talking to my neighbor for awhile. I had gone outside trying to corral my escaped cat. I succeeded this time in under 4 hours! I have to admit that I had help. My neighbors came home from Florida in their huge RV and he was scared of the diesel motor.
No special plans for the week. Just the usual work. I am with you Crystal, I am already ready for Friday!

Not much going on here today, hope to get out for a walk and need to get some plants that I got in Chicago in the ground, I've been waiting for some of my hostas to come up so I don't plant too close.

Good morning Crystal and the rest of Illinois!
I have been thinking of watching "Precious", but am afraid it would be too intense and hit too close to home in some areas. I heard it could be disturbing.
The weekend was OK. Saturday, I went to the visitation for my co-worker and in the afternoon, I had a nice surprise! Paul, Liz and the kids were in my neck of the woods and they stopped out for a visit. Liz thinned out my Lily of the Valley plants, the kids kicked balls around the yard and we had nice conversation. Paul is doing well, after the removal of his band.
Yesterday, I took Liv into Rockford for new glasses. She got 2 pairs, one of them sunglasses. I don't know WHY we never thought of that before, but she is ecstatic to be able to see outdoors. She has tried contacts, but has not had much luck.
Today, work, then dinner with a friend then the Rockford Support Group. Hope to see many of you there!

How long it takes varies depending on a lot of factors.....insurance being the biggest one. I'm sure your doctor can probably give you a better idea, or maybe others on here.
It took me almost 2 years, but that was due to the first insurance not covering the proceedure. It was also quite a long time ago, and things have changed (for the better) since then.
Please stop by often so we can get to know you and support you!

Last I knew Lapband was not covered by Medicaid. Have you spoken with your surgeon's billing specialist? Things are changing rapidly right now so maybe I am misinformed but please check with the BILLING SPECIALIST. Get a definite answer on that before you proceed.
