Tuesday Roll Call

Good Morning,

I was in bed early last night, at least for me, and woke up a bit early this morning. I am hoping to finish my laundry, and put it away before I head for work.

Today looks to be  nice again. Al least the office where I am today has windows, so I can see the sun. Of course, it works the opposite too. When it is bad out we see that.

I want to stop at Walmart today to pick up a shepards crook. My daughter gave me a bird feeder for my birthday, and i want to hang it outside.

Morning, Lisa and Illinois,

Loving this weather.  I'm feeling better every day and am able to do more.  I pulled a few weeds yesterday but bending over is still a little uncomfortable so I'm going to hold off on that for awhile.  Going to go for a walk on our trail today and our garden club meeting is tonight.

My wonderful husband got a load of compost for me and put it on the garden yesterday so I want to get some lettuce planted.  That's about it for me.

Good morning Lisa, Lynn and the rest of Illinois!

I am working today and have to stay late to cover the office.  Oh well a couple of extra $$ won't hurt.

We got Todd's beer bottled last night and it was a family affair.  We ALL helped.  In 2-3 weeks, he and his friends can sample it.  I bought him all the beer-making equipment years ago for Christmas, thinking he needed a hobby.  At that time, he only did a batch or two and it has been sitting for over 8 years.  I kind of hope he gets into it this time.  It would be a fun hobby for him.  I myself don't drink beer, but the equipment can make root beer, sassafras and wine too!

Besides that, I think I will research hellbores......they sound very interesting and right up my gardening alley!  Thanks Lynn!

Gotta get to work, now.

Good afternoon,

Not much going on today.  I might go out and pull some weeds for a couple hours.  I want to go slow this year and do a little at a time.  This is the first year that I have hired someone to fertilize our yard.  I have a green thumb and am a control freak, so this should be interesting! 
My band is acting up!  I haven't been able to keep anything down for 3 days.  The good thing is that I'm down 3 pounds, but am sooooo hungry!  2 more pounds and I'm in the 140's!  Still running, but working some of the auctions get in the way.  The work days are so long, i can't even use the gym at the hotel.  Hope all is well with you guys!  I've became friends with some of you on FB and have enjoyed reading your posts!  Connie, how are you liking your iPad?  Ryan and I are thinking about one.  I'm amazed at how much Madison needs the computer for school, so we would give her the home PC.  Take care and enjoy the sun and soak up some Vit.D!

We are just about on our way down to the Loop for the Bulls game and then overnight at the Mart Plaza. I am pretty aggravated with my gastro doc as she is just putting me on an anti-diarrhea med instead of something that will heal the colon. To me that is only a bandaid for the situation. No Crohn's which I knew all along AND get this she wants me to go to a nutritionist due to dumping syndrome  I was like WHAT? I very rarely dump and I do not need to waste my time and dollars with a NUT. She needs to do some research. This info all came from the office girl and not the doctor. I still have a call in for the doc to call me back, hopefully not tonight.
