Good Morning Illinois,
It is going to be a sunny warmish day today. I really hope so, since I bought a few flowers yesterday, and I would like to get them planted today.
Other plans for today include trying to clean my closet and putting away some of the heavier sweaters.

Hello everyone
Well today it turns out I do have plans. Today at noon me and a group of friends are going to see The Godfather at a theater in Naperville. I love The Godafather but never saw it on the big screen...I was born the year it came out in theaters. So I am a happy camper.
Then on my way home I will run a few errands, price some laptops, and then go home to clean up some. Then later I will be watching an old Alfred Hitch**** classic- North by Northwest. There's my day in a nut shell.

My two days off have flown by but the good news is that I have another 2 days to go!
My 2 year checkup went well. I am pleased with my copy of the lab tests. Everything that should be is in the high normal range.
Yesterday I went to pick up my taxes and received a pleasant surprise. Usually I get a several hundred dollars. Well this year I get several thousand dollars.
Could it have something to do with $10,000 in dental bills, a new high efficiency heating and cooling system and 2 knee replacements????? Now I can have fun deciding what to do with the new found money.
Today, Direct TV is here installing my system. Goodbye Dish TV!!!! Dish TV is actually making me pay to ship back it's equipment. It refuses to come and get it. GRRR! What a mistake.
I have a hair appointment this afternoon and then I bought some pansies at the store yesterday. That is the only flower I will allow myself to plant until the end of May when we get past the frost free date. Everytime I have disregarded that rule, I have paid for it by losing my flowers.

Today looks like it will be lovely! Sunny and breazy
I have a party to go to tonight and I am a bit nervous. Since I have lost 108 pounds I have yet to dress up for a party! This one is for a 29 year old celebrating birthday and graduation from Masters program. SO add to my nerves I will be the old one there!
Any ideas on what to wear? Don't want to look like I am trying to look young andd I don't want to dress like my age (49)
Wish you all a wonderful weekend! any advice would be appreciated, the stress is making me want to nibble.

We gave been home for about an hour from Navy Pier. We are tired emotionally and physically. We love meeting people and telling them about our journey towards WLS. It is such a neat event plus we love that area of Chicago.
