Good morning Chris and the rest of Illinois!

Not too much going on for me today.  We are hoping to be able to reschedule last Friday night's Christmas Tree Burn for this Saturday if the weather holds out.  Liv's school musical is also this weekend.....Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Funny about our TV's........we were talking about this the other day.  We own a total of 4, all color:

The oldest one has a dial and we got it when the hotel my brother worked at upgraded over 20 years ago for $10.00 each.  We use that one in the garage and for watching outdoors.

The one in the spare room, Todd won at his Christmas Party about 17 years ago.

The one in our room we got through Freecycle probably 3-4 years ago (in exchange for a couch and love seat) and had to solder a connection.

The main TV in the living room we got after Todd's grandma passed.  So.....we have spent a total of $ 10.00 on televisions in our life together (23 years).

You would think that would mean that we have lots saved up for a new one, but no.  We have used the $$$ we saved on TVs to feed our kids!

I wish everyone a wonderful day!

Tell someone that you love them!

I don't make the TV people happy either. One in the basement is a 13" screen that I bought when I got divorced in '82. The other Kay got about the same time, maybe a few years later at best. The tv in the computer room was only ten years old and it died last night (15" screen) so we moved the family room tv to the computer room. It is probably 27" and a friend gave it to us because she didn't like it. We were looking today for a new 15" and decided not to get one right now. However, I did help the economy by buying an iPad and of course, yarn! We never buy anything unless we already have the money for it.

Yes, you are like us not impulse buyers. We have several other TVs in the house but they are still useful. I still buy crafty things and household useful things from time to time but not big ticket items.

I do buy yarn on impulse quite frequently. If you don't buy it when you see it, someone else will take it.

 Good Evening!

I am finally getting on here.  The last two days have been really hectic for me.  We FINALLY got our new computers at the office yesterday.  I now have a 22 inch monitor.  That thing is HUGE!!!!   The system is so much nicer than the old computer.  I was a little disorientated yesterday with the new size but today it was not a problem.

Today I started training someone.  Unlike you Crystal, I love it.  I am a born teacher.  I can't think of anything else I want to do.  Don't know why.  I also love the lovely age of 13 and 14 year olds.  You can certify me as crazy right now.

I broke down and got a small HDTV about 8 months ago when I changed cable systems.  It is only 24 inches but I love it.  I kept my old clunker and have it in my bedroom.  It is the first time in my life I have had a TV in my bedroom.  I just wanted a basic TV with no bells and whistles.

Crystal, I have a netbook.  I like it but if I was going to be using it full time I would probably go for the laptop just to get  the standard monitor size and keyboard size.

Christine,  I have been sending positive vibes your way.  I do understand your fears of Chrones.  I have two coworkers that I have worked with over the years that have this disease and understand some of the frustrations that can go along with it.

Randy, love the new pic!

Nancy, I am 95% positive that I do not have Crohn's as I have looked at all of the symptoms and know that I have not lived with any of them except the runs to the potty. It is the microscopic colitis that she DXd me with in 2002 and I want some drugs NOW! I will call for the doc to call me later in the evening after my hair apt. tomorrow.

We have a HD out in the 3 season room and it is great and a good size for that area. I was telling Dave that tonight that I am so happy that the white elephant is out of the FM. He finally admitted that the 36" was too large for our setting. I no way Jose wanted it to begin with BUT he had very little when growing up and had that syndrome of needing to have the largest and the newest . . .

Good Evening All:

Hope everyone had a wonderful day it was so beautiful out today.  Too bad I had to work!

I have made it through my 6 mos of doctor supervised visits and have faxed all my information to my surgeons office.  Now will be waiting on insurance for the next 14-30 days (so they say).  Hopefully will have a surgery date soon.
