Friday Roll Call
Good Friday morn' to everyone. I usually do not have Good Friday off but I took an extra sick day for the day after my test yesterday because the drugs throw me for a loop. I have only been up for close to an hour and I am wilting already. So I will need to get things done in small increments today.
Yesterday the doctor sent me for an additional test which will be tomorrow morning. She is checking for Crohn's. I think she is off base (I only have one of the sysmptoms) of it and she probably did not read my chart as she already DX'd me with Microscopic Colitis (MC). The MC caused the same issues years ago.
Oh well - we are off to decide on our new flat panel TV today. I am in the process of finding price comparisons right now also.

Hello everyone
Yeah!! It's Friday. What's going for me today- work and run some errands after work. That's all.
Every morning now when I'm driving to work I'm on the look out for that psycho driver. I keep thinking he will show up and act crazy again. I'm paranoid I know.
I'm going to watch the movie "A Death At A Funeral" not the new version. The old British version. It's supposed to be very funny.

I slept with my windows open last night and it was SOOOOO nice.
I am working for a short time this morning. Then I need to find a movie about WWII at the library for David to do a paper on before he returns to school on Tuesday. I also have to go to the post office and the store. Then home to make deviled eggs and shrimp cevice for the fire we are having tonight. We are having the first "official" fire of the season and we burn the Christmas trees from the neighborhood. One of the trees is 16 feet tall, so they usually cut that one in half. It is a right of passage that ushers in Spring in Rock City.
I also need to take Liv to her softball lesson in Oregon and we have theater group too. David is doing his "ride-along" with the Freeport police today. I hope something exciting happens for him......but not TOO exciting.

Dawn - - My 16 year old son is a World War II fanatic. I asked him which movies are his favorite and he loves "Band of Brothers" but he said it is long, "Battle of the Bulge", "Midway", "Defiance" - - the list goes on! Have fun with homework!

Chris I hope the figure out what's going on with you soon. Good luck on the tv shopping too! We just got a Samsung flat panel a few months ago and we love it. It's only a 40" but it works for us.
As for me today, well I will be doing more homework and taking Tyler and Jacob out to lunch with the neighbors since they've been on break all week and I've had school. I feel bad that they really didn't get to do anything. Tonight they will head to their dad's for the Easter weekend.
I will just relax and not do much the rest of the weekend, other than...you guessed it, more homework! lol
I had my 2 year check up with Dr. Rantis on Tuesday and they took 8 vials of blood! yikes...the girl that did it kinda scared me though, cuz she stuck the needle in my arm, missed the vein and pulled it out and then just restuck me in another vein without chaning the needle! big no no, from what I've been learning. Anyway, yesterday in class we were practicing blood draws on each other and I had 7 more tubes pulled from me...so that makes 15 vials of blood in 2 days! yikes..lol Other than waiting for the blood test results, he wants me to find a primary Dr and get my heart checked and see if we can figure out why I have swelling in my legs...

Monica. When I did mine, he drew 9 vials. I didn't think they would ever stop. I had the swelling in my legs to. At first the Dr thought it was Diabetis related, it wasn't, My heart I had surgery 2 months before, they fiannaly decided it was my weight. (2 months before lapband). You know it isn't your weight. If you don't take them, try water pills.
This is the first we could get on the internet today. I spent 2 hours on the phone "holding" before we finally got it going. Not a good way to spend my morning.
I am going to spend part of this afternoon outside in the heat and sun(filtered of course) we need as much vit. D as we can get. At least that is what I tell my DH.
