Wednesday Roll Call
Good Morning Everyone,
Make sure you have those sunglasses ready, it is going to be nice and sunny today.
Last night I decided to have a protein shake, since I knew I didn't have enough protein yesterday, well, I got out the vanilla, but really wanted something else. So, out came the Crystal lite, and I added a tube to the shake. I had a raspberry shake that was fab. I am going to look at other flavors to make other types.
Nothing new is happening today. Just work and home. I want to get outside tomorrow and soak up the sun. It helps your vit. D levels. At least that is what I tell DH, so he doesn't think I am loafing around.

Good morning!
This is my only early day where I have to get up. We've been having breakfast with the same friends for probably 20 years--every Wednesday. Then I will go to knit and Kay will play in the dirt!
I have some research to do as we are going to France later this year and I'm still deciding on the hotel and hoping the air fare drops.
Hope everyone is recovering nicely and that things are going well across Illinois.

Hello everyone
Well I had a heck of day yesterday and the morning so far today wasn't so great.
I took the day off Monday and while I was gone a girl in the Finance department took it upon herself to complain to the boss about my department. She is one of those people that kisses the boss's butt. She is a real piece of work. Well she told the boss my department was behind because everyone is talking. Well I was told by several people outside of my department that everything was really quiet Monday. So is she making stuff up??? Why cause trouble??? I don't understand people like that. And even worse my boss will believe her...she's kind of the boss's favorite. So my boss will be in today so we will see later how much I will get yelled at...
Now this morning I'm driving down the street and the person ahead of me is going 35 mph in a 45 zone. So no big deal just ahead the road becomes a 4 lane and I can pass him. So I wait patiently and when we hit the 4 lane road I go to pass him. He swerves in front of me and blocks my way...then slams on his breaks...I almost hit him. So I am thinking I want to get away from this guy. Everytime I go to the other lane the guy in front of me swerves over to block me and keeps slamming on his breaks. I just slowed way down to let this guy get way ahead of me but when I slow down he slows down. I was trapped. I called the police and gave them his plate #. I'm still worried he saw where I turned off to go to work...what happens if he vandalizes my car. Geeze what was wrong with the guy. He was a freak. My heart is still pounding.

I never thought about adding crystal light to protein shakes, I will have to try it.
There are some crazy drivers out there, be careful:) People have too much time on their hands.
I was up half the night with gas pains in my chest, OMG! I walked and changed positions, nothing helped. Are we supposed to take some gas relievers? Is this always going to happen? I have never had this before in my life, but I could tell it was gas because it moved all over my body. Weird.
I hope you all enjoy the beautiful weather today:)

Hope your pain is better. Is the Tylenol doing anything for you? I've heard on OH in other posts that Gas X strips work well. Knock on wood but I haven't had any issues at all with gas. I thought we would be past that but I guess not. You'll appreciate this, Kenny is coming with me Friday morning and he said he has one question for Dr. Joyce, "When can she stop wearing an air freshener in the back of her underwear?" What a guy, huh?
I'll try giving you a call later. I'm really looking forward to seeing you Friday.

I am really looking forward to the good weather.
I am working today, and David came in with me to get a haircut and the release for his ride-along notarized. He is out sleeping in my car right now.
Liv and I went to see her ear specialist in Madison yesterday and the verdict is in.......Liv needs another set of tubes put in. The retraction of her eardrums has gotten worse over the last year instead of better and the hearing loss is "stable". The doctor DID talk about a more extensive surgery that might be a more permanent fix, but her advice is to try the tubes again in hopes that the more extensive surgery will not be needed. Liv was a bit disappointed, but not really surprised. She has had trouble with her ears all her life and this will be her 9th set of tubes. Now, we just have to find a good day to schedule it and go from there.
Crystal, sorry to hear that your days have not been great. I hope it gets better from here on out.
Yvonne.....nice to see you posting and NO, the gas pain is not something you will have forever. You can call your surgeon and ask about the gas relief and see what he thinks. This too shall pass.......;-)
