Saturday Roll Call
It was a long week. I guess it was long because there wasn't much work but that gave me a chance to straighten out all of my manuals and other info that was just collecting in stacks. Now everything is neat and dusted inside the cabinets.
What is going on in your world? I bought a new 'puter on line yesterday. Mine is starting to limp along and drag its feet. So we had the cash for it and it is on its way to my house. Now I need to sort through my software so I can load it on the new PC and also see how much of Microsoft Office I have and then if I need to buy the full version or just an upgrade.

Good Morning Christine and the rest of Illinois,
My DGD went to her Dads yesterday afternoon. We will pick her up tomorrow and take her home. I forget how quiet our house is when she isn't here.I really enjoyed my time with her this week. She isn't a little girl anymore, now that she will be 12 in May.
Today I am baking desserts for an early family Passover Seder tomorrow night. It is just to hard to get together on the actual 1st night, since we are 60 miles apart.
I also need to get back in the work mode, and make sure I am ready to return to work on Monday. I didn't get everything done this week that I wanted to, but it will get done.
Good News, our street is rocked and they made sure the driveways were opened, so now we can park by our houses again. I know there will be a while when we will have to park at the corner again,but, for now, the street is opened.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day and enjoys the sunshine. I agree this week just dragged by, I'm glad it's the weekend. I'm looking forward to my first night out after surgery, going downtown for a girls night, I hope I can stay up!

I have nothing planned this weekend. So I am starting to put a dent in my daughter's room. There is so much to pack and clean. I figured the more I get done before my daughter comes the more time I will have to spend with her when she visits. I still have lots to plan for her graduation party. Wihich will kind be like an engagement party too because she will announce her engagement at that time.
I got a fill yesterday and I can't really tell yet how tight I am. I have stalled since I got an unfill back in January. But I had to get that unfill...damn this band is getting on my nerves.

Wow, Two days in a row. I am setting a new record for me! So far I have had a laid back day but that will change soon. I leave at 3:30 to go work at the auction for our animal shelter. Fingers crossed that we will make more money than last year. We seem to do that every year so hope we can do it again this year. We have loads of donations so it will be nice. Also, you can get some good buys. I ended up with a huge photo last year for $65. It looks just like one of my cats. It is 3' x 4' and framed to boot. What a steal. I love it. One year I got one of those chair and a half's for $125. Anyway, it is always fun regardless of what you come home with. And it is all for the animals care!
Lisa, I am so glad you got your driveway access back. That has to be a huge relief. Crystal, enjoy your cleaning of your newly claimed space. Christine, a new computer is always exciting!

Yes, I am looking forward to the new 'puter. I am going to have to learn a new OS as this one has Vista and I have XP here and at work,; plus I am upgrading to Office 2007 from 2003. We are in the dark ages at work with IE 6 because of all the different county, state and local systems that cannot use more than IE 6 or 7.
