Monday Roll Call

Hello everyone

Well it's Monday already...the weekends go by so fast.  I'm sitting here at work very tired.  I had a bad dream that some broke into my house and attacked me... it woke me up.  I had trouble getting back to sleep again.  SO now I'm tired.

I had a nice weekend.  I watched several movies.  One of them is Food Inc.  It really made me think about the meat I buy.  I think from now on I will be buying organic meat and dairy products.  The things they put in the animals to make them grow faster is not good for us.  The animals are fed things that are unnatural for them to eat causing more ecoli.  Then they are slaughtered in unsafe conditions, causing more infected meat.  There is so much we don't know about the food we eat.  I will be shopping more at Trader Joes and Whole Foods.  Any way you need to watch this movie.

Well back to work.  Have a nice day.

Good Morning Crystal and Illinois,

No work for me this week. I took off a week of vacation so I could have my Granddaugher for spring break.

I have to agree with you about the food we eat. Even McDonalds Chicken Nuggets have 17 things in them, not counting the coating, besides chicken.

We did White Fench Farm yesterday. It was great as always, even if I was able to eat a single peice of chicken. We brought a lot of it home.

Carol N lost her mother yesterday. I am sure we all will offer our prayers  to her. I  Have lost both my Mom and Dad. Mom in 84 and Dad in 90. I know the first few months are the worst, even the first year, but you will survive.

Today I will see Dr. G at 3:30 . We are going up a bit early so we can do some shopping, then meeting our cousins for dinner after. It looks to be a full day.

The sun is shining, all is good. Stay safe.

Huggers,
LISA

Good morning Crystal, Lisa and the rest of Illinois!

I am thinking of Carol and sending great thoughts to her and her family.  How sad.

We spent most of Saturday at a funeral for a good friend's father from "the neighborhood" where Todd grew up.

Yesterday, we had a Boy Scout committe meeting and I had to take Live to her catcher's lesson in Oregon.  Now, to begin another week.

Work today, then home to make Asian Salisbury Steaks, I think.  Liv has track after school and play rehearsal after that, so we won't see her until after 8 pm.

Crystal, I am glad you found some shoes you like at Eastbay.  That seems to be the only place for my big footed kids.

Everyone have a splendid day!

Tell someone that you love them!
