Morning!! Anyone have surgery thru Public Aid?

I'm wondering if anyone on Public Aid has been approved for surgery in IL and who their surgeon was?? Any information is greatly appreciated!!!

I have IL medicaid, and I had surgery in November with Dr. Nagle at Northwestern in Chicago.  When I had surgery a few months ago (and I'm assuming it is still this way), medicaid did not pre-approve surgery.  If you meet all of the requirements to have surgery, you go through your surgeons program, have surgery, then they bill medicaid.
