Wednesday Roll Call

Hello everyone 

I am tired.  I didn't sleep good again last night.  Oh well maybe I'll sleep better tonight.

I stayed at work late last night.  Today I will leave much earlier around 5-5:30.  I can't wait till Friday.  I am going out with a friend to see a movie (The Runaways). 

I am excited because I found out that Payless carries shoes that are just like those shape-ups from Sketchers and They are only $40 and I have a 20% off coupon.  So I am happy about that.

The pea soup is thick this morning, DH called a bit ago he couldn't see the street lights, at the end of his parking lot earlier. Translation, leave eariler for work, or wail until later to drive to LaSalle.

We had a nice walk last night. It was still warm when I got home. I wanted to grill out, but DH said the grill wasn't clean. :(. So, he cooked the meat last night.

Tonight we are going to dinner with friends. Probaly for corn beef,

If you can't find them in the store you can order them online and have them shipped to the store for free.  If they don't fit you can exchange them right there.  I read the return policy online.

Good Morning!  Today I'm going into the office for a few hours of training for upcoming auctions.  I will be learning a different part of the operation.  Which I'm excited about!  Then home to do a short run and then drop Maddie off at CCD then Ryan and I will do some more car shopping and then off to TaeKwonDo.  I have my cars narrowed down to two cars I think.  They are just so different!  I'm selling my car to my brother.  I hope everyone has a great day and stay safe:)

I've been finding food choices easier since we got home from Honduras and Belize. I don't know why but I'll take it. I didn't even gain weight on the cruise! 

Tomorrow is Match Day at all the Colleges of Medicine across the country, and is when the fourth year students find out where they will spend the next 3-10 years doing the rest of their studies. It's my favorite day of the year! It is really fun!

Good morning Illinois!  I've been MIA for awhile, things got busy quickly at our house.

We are officially putting our house on the market.  I'm supposed to call a few realtors today to figure out who we want to sell our house.  So I've spent the last few days decluttering and cleaning our house.

We went and looked at a house in Tonica and I've fallen in love with it.  So I want to get this house on the market and put in an offer on the other house contingent on the sale of our house.

Real Estate is not for the faint hearted that is for sure.  I feel like I'm in Vegas about to spin the roulette wheel.

I also went to my second preop class last week and am now wearing my spiffy new pedometer.  I was really shocked to see how much I do walk in a day.  The instructor said not to expect to get very close to the average 10,000 steps an active person takes in a day.  So far I've hit above 8,000 steps every single day.

Next I'm supposed to meet with the surgeon and then they will send my file to insurance for approval.  They say that Medicare is pretty fast with a response (yes) so I'm crossing my fingers for a quick response. I'm ready to get this show on the road.

Hmmm not too much on my plate right?

Good morning Crystal and the rest of Illinois!

I hear ya about being tired, even though I sleep ok, I have been really tired the past few days.  I'd like to blame it on the time change, but that does not really make sense.  Last night, I wes ready for bed about 7.  That would mean my body clock thought it was 6 pm, and even I don't go to bed THAT early.  I hope we both get energized soon.  I am going to walk at lunch outside.  Sometimes, that helps.

Besides that, not too much happening here.  A dear friend and former neighbor passed on and the funeral is Saturday.  This is the father of the family that Todd grew up right down the street from and Todd has known for 40 years.  This man was like a surogate father for Todd after his father passed when he was small.  So sad.

I wish everyone a spectacular day and hope you get to spend some of it outside.

Crystal,I checked the Payless site, and the "shapeups" only comeup to asize 10. I called our local Payless, and they havenever gotten them oversize 10 either. She told me that they don't them over that.
