Hello everyone

I am having spring forward-itis.  I woke up this morning and my body thought it was only 3:30am instead of 4:30.  Then I get to work and the security system won't let us in because it thinks it's still 5am and I have 6am-6pm access.  So we had to sit around till someone with 24 hour access let us in.  UGH!!!  This happens every year and of course I forget every year.

I hear that if it rains this weekend it could turn to snow...YUCK!!!

Ok I need to get up and walk around I am ready to fall asleep.  Everyone have a nice day.

Good Morning,

The building  I am in today will forget about the main clock in our area, and it won'tshow the "new time" until someone decides t do it. Last October, when we fell back, it too****il Christmas. We can't do it because the clock is caged. I guess they think we are goin to steal it. The same goes for the thermostat for the heat and AC.

I love having the light at night, but hated the darkness this morning. I didn't want to get out of bed either.

Lynn, congrats on the new grandbaby.

Crystal, I hope your Dad is better

Carol and Paulette, I am hoping your Moms are getting better too.

Nothing happening today in my world except work. we will have leftover corn beef and cabbage for dinner tonight. At least DH will, it doesn't sit to good with me.

hoping for a great day, stay safe.

Huggers,
LISA

Morning, Crystal and Illinois,
Crystal, I remember those first few days getting up for work after the time change, it sure makes a difference.  But hopefully it will feel like you're getting to go home an hour early.

Thanks for all the good wishes, our granddaughter and baby are doing fine.  Should come home Tuesday.  We went and saw their new apartment last night in Coal City, very cute, he's got a lot more in it than she does!

Not much going on today, PCP appointment at 9 for a pre-surgical physical and them maybe some swimming.  I sure hope they are wrong about snow this weekend.

Have a good Monday everyone.

Lynn

Good morning everyone!

Things are still busy, but that's a good thing.  I'm actually happy about the time change this year, because I'd really like to start taking advantage of walking after work in the evening.  Walking inside the house to a dvd just isn't the same and it's getting old.

It's amazing how quickly this school year is going by.  Soon it's Spring Break and then both my girls graduate.  It seemed like I'd have a lot more time to prepare, but it's coming up pretty fast!

I do hope that everyone has a great day and hopefully we can all enjoy some sun at some point today!

Well, unless the temps are going to take a drastic nose dive by Fri-Sun I do not think that we will get any snow. Our projected is to be highs in the mid 40's.

I VOTE FOR SNOW AND THEN IT CAN MELT REALLY, REALLY SLOW.

Good morning Crystal and the rest of Illinois!!!

We had a GREAT time in Chicago on Satruday.  The kids and my girlfriend were actually IN the parade, but me and another guy lost out on that opportunity because we went to the bathroom.  By the time we were done, our unit (Chicago Fire Soccer Team) had progressed far enough ahead of us that we had to RUN to catch up.  RUN, me????  Oh YEAH I DID!!!!!!!!    Once we caught up, the police would not let us re-join them, but that is understandable.
Then, at the end of the route, the parade turned right and we could not get to them.  I had to meet them back at the hotel.
We had a wonderful time and met lots of nice people.  David got to flirt with some very pretty girls from Alabama in the marching band that was waiting next to us.  They really thought his green nails were cool!!!  We can't WAIT to do it again!

Today I am working and not sure if I can get to the Rockford meeting.  It is "Crossover" for the Boy Scouts tonight.  I am waiting to hear back from Todd to see if I am needed there for anything.

If it DOES snow at the end of the week, the good news is that it will not last and should be the end of it for the year.

Everyone have a great day!

Tell someone that you love them!
