Terrible pain in my pouch

Has anyone developed an ulcer after their surgery, or ever had one? I am starting to think that maybe that is what is causing this very sharp, stabbing pain in my pouch lately.  I am trying to figure out if it's something I'm eating, but I don't see a pattern with it, it just hits me at different times and it hurts bad!  Sometimes a couple of Tums helps, but not tonight.  It feels like someone is sticking a knife in my gut.
I am just about 2 years out and since my nightmare right after my surgery, I have had absolutely no problems

Yep.
Developed a severe stricture at the small intestine reconnection and when they went in for the initial endoscopy to repair they discovered a bad ulcer and prescribed Prevacid. You could have acid reflux which can happen even after the surgery to a few people. I'd call your surgeon and let him know.

Im having the same issues. Mine started this past Tues. and has continued. When I eat/drink it hurts and in between feels like a brick on my chest. When I eat, I feel like after 2 bites I'm full, I'm wondering if this could be a stricture. I am 4 1/2 yrs out and NEVER had this problem before. If it continues, I'm going to call my gastro dr.
