Thursday Roll Call

Hi friends,

I'm sorry i have been out of touch, i'm exercising 4 days out of the week and i am tired.  School is done-yeah and i'm trying to get this company up and running.  I hope everyone is doing well.

Hello everyone

I am happy it's Thursday...almost Friday!!!

I am buying a treadmill Saturday for only $100.  It's a really nice treadmill too.  He bought it for $700.  And I won't have to rent a truck.  A friend is going to help me and we're using her van.  YEAH!!!.  So Saturday I will have a nice treadmill.  I'm soooo excited.  I have a big mess to clean up in my daughter's room to make room for the treadmill.   But in the mean time the treadmill will live in my bedroom.  Now my goal is to workout 5-6 times a week.

Hey everyone!  I've joined the land of the living again ~ my parent/teacher conferences are over!  I have three to make up, but that is not till next week.  I'm free and clear!  lol

I am going to run in my first 5k on May 8th.  I've started the couch to 5k program this week.  I'm working out with my trainer again.  Trying to get back into the exercise routine.

I am looking forward to feeling 40 plus temps today!  It will definitely make recess duty more tolerable!

My day is just work and boring stuff.  A nice calm day!

Just regular things on my agenda today. Just PT, stop at the office to get my GS cookies I ordered, then a dr appointment. After that, I will come home and do a few things around here. Just a normal day in Streator.

Good morning Illinois!!!!

I am working today, then home to help Liv sort her Girl Scout cookies for delivery tomorrow and over the weekend.  I think we are having steak for dinner with a big salad.

I would like to ask a favor of you all.  My dear friend and neighbor (who you hear me talk about frequently and some of you have met) is in the hospital with a blood clot on her lung and I am very concerned about her.  On Super Bowl Sunday, she fell and tore her achilles tendon and had surgery to repair it about 10 days ago.  She began having pain and trouble breathing on Monday.  After phone calls on both Monday and Tuesday, they finally saw her yesterday and decided to check.  She is to be hospitalized for a few days so they can try to dissolve it safely.  So....please send prayers, mojo and helaing vibes for my good friend, Jonna.

Crystal, that is great about the treadmill!  I KNOW regular workouts will help with your weight loss and that will make you happy, happy, happy!

Good thing that they caught it. My sister was not so lucky as she died from an embolism while in the hospital from having her knee replaced.

Prayers and positive thoughts for your neighbor.  Tell her it is indeed survivable and everything can come out fine.  I had multiple clots that blocked my main artery in my lung and I had to be on oxygen for 
 years while my lungs rerouted themselves.  BUT, I survived and no aftereffects!  It is indeed a long hard road, but think positive!    My only complaint is being sentenced to a lifetime of coumadin due to the doctors being too chicken to take me off of it.  Boo hiss.
