Silly Wii Fit still said I was too heavy while my scales said 318.  Someone mentioned gas pains and I am having problems with gas smells.  I guess I will do a search of OH to see what goes on with others.  I think I am off on my sleep just from our last two days getting Sherry's company laptop back and forth to their techs when it froze since it is hands off for me and they have all kinds of not normal things I likely could mess up pretty good.

Really sorry so many folks are having to put down their fur babies.  I could use a cats company right now but sure am glad I do not have all of the other stuff that comes with a cat right now.  I went to bed at 9 and got up at 4.  I have not had any test since my follow up potasium after being hospitalized by it immediately post op. three months.

Morning, Randy and Illinois,
Bet you are frustrated with your Wii, Randy.  Hope it gets working for you soon.  I think that would really be nice to have.  I'm right there with you on the sleep.  I keep waking up at 5:00 but then we go to bed about 9:30 so I guess that's about right.

Off to the hospital for bloodwork then to sign my surgery consent.  Hope everyone has a good day.  Supposed to be some sun today.

Lynn

Welcome to the roller coaster, Lynn.  I hope your talk was not as bad as mine.  I think Dr. V was afraid I might kill over just coming to visit him.  And in my condition I well might have.

Thanks, Randy.  It went really well.  Dr. Joyce seems to think I'll do great so I hope he's right!  I was worried what my weight would be because I hadn't weighed with them since the end of November and I wasn't told I had to lose anything so I haven't really been watching it too closely, especially around Christmas, but I only gained 1 1/2 pounds.  When I was doing WW, I'd gain that in a week when I was really being good!  Oh, well, guess that's how it goes.  Got all my supplies from his office and already picked up all my prescriptions for after surgery.  Getting very exciting around here!  Thanks for the welcome.

Hello everyone

The week is half over...yeah!!!

I am excited to report that my quest for a treadmill may be over.  I was talking about the treadmill I have a rain check for and my friend mentioned he has one he is trying to sell.  So I will probably get his.  He is going to sell it to me for $100!!!  Now I will have to drive into Chicago to get it.  I will also need to rent a truck to get it.  But before all of that I will need to clean out my daughter's old room to make room for the treadmill.  My daughter fully planed on coming in May to clean things out and move things out but I will need the room before that.  I will spend the weekend doing that.  But I'm so happy I'm getting a really nice, almost new treadmill for dirt cheap!!!  Like I said no excuses now!!!

I am looking forward to the nice weather we are going to have this weekend...rain or no rain at least it will be about 50 degrees outside.  I honestly miss a good thunderstorm.  I find them relaxing (as long as I don't have to drive in them).

I hope everyone that lost their pets last week are doing a little better.  I would love to have a cat but landlord doesn't allow them.  I have thought about talking to her about that rule.  Only because I know most landlords don't want pets in their apartments because of the carpeting (it might get ruined)  Well I've lived here for 11 years and when I do move out she will need to replace this carpeting anyway.  So I was thinking since the carpeting will need to be replaced regardless, I thought maybe she might allow a cat...it's a long shot.

Well have a great day.

Crystal,
As a Landlord, the problem with pets is there bathroom habits. Even trained ones have accidents. And cat pee is one of the worst to get out of not only the carpeting, but the floor underneath. Another major problem is if you allow one tenet in an apartment building to have one, then everyone wants them. Over the years we have also gone with a no pet policy.

Good morning IL!

My baby boy is FOUR today!! He's growing up so fast.  This morning he told me, "I'm not a baby Mommy, I'm a real boy!"

So our plans for today are to stop at a local coffee shop, have my caffeine, let Ben have something sweet and ask for a price quote for them to cater a breakfast for our Teacher Appreciation week.  Then work, then I need to pick up a cake for my 'real boy'.  Tonight I have a club meetng which I plan on speeding through.

Have a great day everyone and enjoy the sun!

Carol
