Hi Georgie,
It's so good to hear that, glad you are feeling better.  My next step would be cortisone shots but I'm putting all that off for awhile to see what happens.

Sounds good to me on the refund, keeping my fingers crossed!

Have a great day.

Good morning Illinois.  A rough morning here in Ottawa.  My oldest son was up all night vomiting.  So he's home from school, on the couch softly moaning.  He's had a popsicle and some saltines.  That has stayed down so far.  Then he asked me for a pbj sandwich which I said to hold off on and keep eating the saltines.

Then I spent half an hour bleaching the heck out of his room.  Thankfully he has wood floors so I mopped the floor, cleaned his bathroom, collected the mountain of laundry and wiped down his mattress.  I'm already tired and I still have to go to work and pick up my preschooler from school.

But on a bright note I'm looking at our options for a quick/cheap getaway for spring break.  I was looking at Virginia Beach, has anyone been there in April? Is it sunny and warm? I don't want to see snow. I'm so sick of snow. I woke up and it was snowing and I swore at it.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Hi Wendi,

Congrats on finishing school and also on becoming a Grandmother. It doesn't matter the background, grandchildren are special. You have heard the old saying, I should of have my grandchildren first. Its true. They grow up so fast.

Hugs to you, and try not to stay away so long.

Hello Everyone!

I hope you had a great day.  It's been a week since surgery and I think I'm doing ok. Just some pain and feeling extremely tired.

Have a good week.

Hi Wendy and Illinois Friends,

I've missed catching up with you all lately.  I've been so swamped that I haven't been on the board at all.  Work has been increasingly difficult, and I've been working out a lot, so I'm in bed early most nights.

Wendy, I haven't "met" you on here before, nice to hear from you.  Congratulations on your upcoming graduation, what an accomplishment!  I hope things work out for your daughter. My sister-in-law had her daughter at 19, and has always been a single Mom. We were so worried about her at that time, she barely graduated high school and had very few job skills.  She now has a PhD in psychology/statistics and my niece is a happy, productive young woman serving in the US Army.

Crystal, you crack me up!   I didn't step on my scale for YEARS due to fear of finding out what the numbers were!  Seriously though, I hope it helps you get back or stay on track.  You sounded so happy a few weeks ago when your efforts were paying off and that scale was cooperating!

Georgie, your new profile picture is awesome! Your face looks so slim!  Congratulations on the 50 lb loss.

Lulubug, congrats on your surgery.  Give yourself time to heal, rest, sip and walk as much as you can.  The first few weeks are a B(*&^^&*&^%$, but it does get better!

Good-night all!

Stephanie
